[Your POV]
Lady Rosut, Urbosa, Revali, and I made our way back to Gerudo Town in silence. This time, we didn't run into any 'odd' monsters. When we made it back to the town, Urbosa and Lady Rosut went straight to some guards, telling them to check in with the scouts. By the time we had settled down, the sun had gone down and it was late into the night. "We will have room prepared for you immediately." Lady Rosut said to Revali and I. "We are sorry for the trouble today." She really did sound deeply sorry...
"It's okay, Lady Rosut." I said. "I'm sorry that everything happened today..." I bowed down. After exchanging apologies multiple times, the chief and I were eventually separated. Lady Rosut was to get ready for bed and Urbosa led Revali and I to our rooms, which weren't in the palace complex with Lady Rosut and Urbosa. She led the two of us to an inn called: Hotel Oasis.
"I'm sorry. The guards find you, (Y/N), suspicious after the events of today and they might do something drastic." Urbosa said. "Even though I would totally kick their ass if they did." My eyes widened as Urbosa let out a chuckle, opening the door to the inn. "They'll give you the keys at the counter and serve you late dinner. Have a good night you two~" She winked and was gone, heading back to the palace complex. I looked up at the inn and took a deep breath, following Revali inside. The person behind the counter immediately handed us the keys. It was at that moment that I realised I was sharing a room with Revali! My face heated up, becoming bright red as the two of us made our way to our room. After entering the room and checking out the place, I also realised that Revali had been almost completely silent the entire time after the mock Thunderblight Ganon fight.
I looked back at him as he removed his weapons and laid down on one of the beds. "Hey, Revali?" I asked, taking a seat on the free bed on the other side of the tiny room.
"Hmm?" He hummed, his eyes closed as he laid there, sprawled out like a starfish on the bed.
"Are you okay?" I asked. "You haven't really said anything since we, you know, battled that thing...and I'm a bit worried."
Revali's eyes opened and his head tilted to look over at me. "Aww. You're worried about me? I'm flattered." He said, sounding the most cocky I had ever heard. I rolled my eyes. "But it's nothing. I've handled far worse. But..." I looked up at the moon, not shining as bright due to the dim light of our room. "It does feel a bit defeating."
"Huh?" I asked, lying on my bed, imitating Revali's position.
"It was really you and Urbosa who defeated that thing. I was, once again, merely just a 'side character'." Revali said, staring up at the ceiling tiredly. "It makes me kinda jealous." This made me really listen. I mean, I was listening before, but now I was blocking out every other sound. "Seeing you fight with Urbosa like that...made me feel kind of yearning. Lonely. Fighting alone is great, don't get me wrong. I love looking at myself and reflecting. But, it's never nice to be alone. It's all so...asinine!" He said angrily.
I felt my eyes droop depressingly. I flashed back to the days of being alone. Sitting in my room, by myself. The only people that really cared were scattered across the world, far from my reach. Gabe manipulating my parents and abusing me. I gripped the bedsheets. "I understand..." I said.
Revali looked back over at me and his eyes widened. He quickly sat up and scowled. "Are you mocking me?! Stop laying like that!" He cried.
"W-Wait, what?!" I cried, nearly falling off the bed. Revali suddenly broke into laughter, his back landing back on the bed. "C'mon, Revali!" I stood up and punched his wing, only making him laugh harder. "You jerk! We were having a moment!"
"Huh? I dunno what you're talking about." Revali said sarcastically. Of course you know what I'm talking about, you little...!
"UGH!" I whined, punching his wing some more as he doubled over, in a fit of giggles now. Even though I was still a bit angry that he messed with me like that, I couldn't help but smile. Was this Revali's way of lightening the mood? The atmosphere in the room had gotten really depressing when I said I understood him. "Hehe..." I began laughing and my punches became sloppy. I laid down next to him, chuckling alongside him. I could guarantee I had a big goofy grin on my face and when I looked over at Revali, rolling on my side, he was suffering from the same thing.
Before I knew it, we were facing each other, still laughing our asses off, for no reason now. Just cause. Our eyes made contact and our laughs slowly turned into chuckles, then quiet giggles. Silence. But we were still smiling as we stared into each other's eyes.
"Hehe!" I hiccuped and pressed my forehead into his feathery neck, closing my eyes, feeling sleepiness take over me. "Hmhm..." I mumbled, rubbing my face against his feathers drunkenly. Revali has gone stiff once again and his wide eyes looked down at me. I could feel heat radiating from his cheeks, which only helped me lull myself to sleep. I felt his body loosen up as I fell asleep.

I opened my eyes, searching for the sunlight, but...it was still nighttime? I blinked, confused, and got feathers in my eye. I flinched and pulled my face away, still confused. I looked up to see Revali, sleeping soundly, the bottom of his beak laying on the top of my head. 'Wait, what happened?!' I thought to myself as my face heated up. I began to panic. I gently scooted away from his body, almost falling off his bed. I quickly scurried back into my own bed, wrapping my blankets around me tightly. What just happened?! Why did I wake up next to Revali?! WHY IS MY MIND SO GODDAMN HAZY?! I let out a sigh and slammed my head into my pillow several times, trying to make my face cool down.
