[Your POV]
"Let me go!" I screamed, pulling at the bars of my cell.
"Or what?" One of the guards asked. "You're gonna steal our bananas?" There were three foot soldiers and one blademaster guarding me and they all began laughing. I glared at them as one walked up to me, leaning his face close to the bars. "What are you gonna do about it?"
I spat on his mask. That's what I did about it. The other Yiga Clan members stopped laughing. The guard wiped my saliva off his mask.
He pulled out his sword and slammed it against my cell, making me take a few steps back. "You RAT!" He yelled. My eyes widened as some of the guards pulled him back. The bladesman walked up to the cell and leaned in.
"I'm sorry. He has anger issues." The bladesman apologized. I was confused. Why was this guy apologizing? I'm their prisoner! "You seem confused." He must've noticed. "You may be our prisoner, but that's no reason to treat you like scum." Surprisingly, I smiled.
"Stop smiling, rat!" The guard with anger issues yelled.
"You can call him Ubel." The bladesman said. "You can call me Hute."
"Are you telling them our names!?" Ubel cried.
"No, just nicknames. They're names I researched and found the meaning of. Ubel means evil. Hute means big." Hute said happily. Hute seemed like the gentle giant while Ubel was the small angry one. I giggled.
"Stop laughing!" Ubel yelled.
"They have the right to laugh." Hute said. "We may take their freedom, but they can still have their usual functions."
"Thanks, Hute." I said.
"O-Oh! No problem!" Hute said. I could somehow see that blush through his mask. What a sweetheart. But I need to get back to my sweetheart. Revali... "Would you like something to eat?"
"If that's okay..." I said. Seeming happy, Hute skipped off to, probably, go and get me some food. Ubel forced his way out of the arms of the other guards, scaring them away.
"I know what you're up to!" Ubel said, slamming his sword against my cell bars again. I raised an eyebrow, not flinching this time. "You're trying to get on his good side!"
"Actually, I think he only has a good side." I said, smirking. "Not that I'm trying to use him, but I'll be nice to him if he's nice to me. And you're an asshole."
"Well, you're not wrong..." Ubel muttered. "W-Wait! You called me an asshole!"
"Yeah." I said. "What are you, deaf?"
"I'm back~" Hute sang as he walked back to my cell. "I found some apples for you!" The bars were far apart enough to slip an apple through. Hute began tossing them through the bars and into my arms one at a time. I got four apples in total.
"Thank you, Hute!" I said, giving him a smile.
"O-OH! It's no problem, (Y/N)!" Hute stuttered, seeming flustered.
"You're calling them by their first name!?" Ubel yelled. "You can't do that!?"
"Why not? It will probably make them more comfortable. The cell is uncomfortable, so why not make them feel comfortable in different ways?" Hute asked.
"GET OUT OF MY WAY!" Ubel yelled, shoving Hute aside, despite his size. He pulled a key out of his pocket, unlocking my cell. "There's only two reasons we're keeping you here! One: We know how close you are with a certain champion. Two: Because of THIS!" He slammed the cell door shut behind us, locking it. He turned back to me and pinned me to the ground, one hand clamping around the Sheikah Slate. "This! I still don't know why this is attached to your arm, but this need to...be removed." He put his sword back on his belt and pulled out a small knife. My eyes widened as he brought the knife to my arm.
"Stop!" I screamed, trying to kick him. He dropped the knife and pulled out a rope, wrapping it around my wrists and ankles. "Stop!"
"No!" Ubel yelled, picking the knife back up. He brought it to my arm, pressing it against my skin. "This needs to come off!" I felt pain rush through my entire body as the knife began cutting my skin.
"Stop it!" Hute yelled. He reached through the bars, trying to grab Ubel.
"What's going on here!?" A booming voice yelled. Ubel pulled away the now bloody knife, looking behind him. It was...Master Kohga! But he was younger and not as chubby. Much more fit. "Get off of them!" Ubel stood up, hiding the knife behind his back. "Bring them to the arena!"
"Yes, Master Kohga." Hute and Ubel said, bowing as he walked off.
"Get over here, Hute. Let's go!" Ubel yelled, grabbing me by the ankles.
Hute walked over to me, gently wrapping his arms around my torso. The blood from my arm dripped down on his hand. "I'm sorry, Hute." I apologized.
"Oh, it should be me who's saying sorry." Hute whispered. "I'm so sorry for Ubel's behaviour."
"It's okay." I said.
"Stop talking to the prisoner! For the last time!" Ubel yelled as they both carried me out of the cell.
~~~~~
Hute cut my bonds at the entrance of the arena. I noticed it was the room with the strange wall that swung open. Ubel left us, supposedly leaving to get a good seat. Hute stayed behind. "Hey, (Y/N), I wish you luck." Hute said.
"Thanks, Hute." I said. "Is there anything I can do to thank you?"
"Oh, hang on!" Hute said, reaching into his pocket. He pulled out a white bandage and wrapped it around my bleeding arm. "I hope that doesn't hurt."
"Thank you, Hute...again." I said.
"Aw! You're so sweet!" Hute squealed, wrapping his arms around me, hugging me. "I'll check on you after this, okay?"
"Okay." I said, hugging him back. He put me down and hopped away, waving me good luck. As he left, I couldn't help but wonder why he was part of the Yiga Clan. He could probably go and live his life how he wants, so why was Hute staying here? Was there something that was holding him back? The thought made me wanna help him out of here. But Hute seemed strong, despite his child-like loveableness.
I took a deep breath and pushed open the door. I would've tried to run away, but guards were standing guard at all entrances and exits. When I opened the door, I noticed the guards get closer to me. Following me. I hurried through the doorway, or would you call it a wallway? When I entered the arena, I spotted two footsoldiers on the other side holding down a chained Lynel. Not just any Lynel. A Silver Lynel. My eyes widened as I attempted to back away, but two bladesmen stopped me, making sure there was no way of exit. My heart began pounding as I looked back at the Lynel. When I had protected Revali, I had only been able to stun a Silver Lynel, not defeat it. When I looked down at my Sheikah Slate, it didn't turn on! No! Ubel must've damaged it with that knife! I began to panic and looked to the crowd. Hute would be watching, right? There were seats high above the floor of the arena, staring down on me. My eyes searched the crowd. Would I know which one was Hute? So many of them looked the same!
Then my eyes spotted a bladesman waving his arm frantically, holding an apple. He gave me a thumbs up. That must be Hute, since everyone else seemed to be rooting for my death. I looked back at the Lynel as Master Kohga's voice echoed through the arena. "It is time for the show!" He announced, making the crowd go wild with cheers and wishes for blood. "You, (Y/N) (L/N), are an abomination to Hyrule! How dare you wear the Sheikah Slate with such pride among the pathetic excuses for champions! You are all an embarrassment to Hyrule! Only the Calamity can save us now! Hail Ganon!"
My heart dropped as the crowd of Yiga Clan began chanting. "Hail Ganon! Hail Ganon!" They shouted. Revali...wherever you are...please be safe.
"Release the Lynel!"
