[Revali's POV]

I woke to see Mipha with her hands over me. "M-Mipha?" I asked.

"Oh, Revali! You're alive!" Mipha cried, hugging me.

"Is (Y/N) okay? Are you guys okay?" I asked, sitting up, my eyes scanning the field where I was fighting Dark Beast Ganon. "What happened? Where's (Y/N)!?"

"Calm down, Revali." Mipha said calmly. "(Y/N)'s taking care of it!"

"What!?" I cried, looking over at Dark Beast Ganon. Daruk, Link, and Urbosa holding Zelda, ran up to Mipha and I. "What is (Y/N) doing!?" I tried to get up, seeing (Y/N) standing on Ares' back, the Master Sword in hand.

"They're going to kill Ganon!" Link said. "You need to have faith in them, Revali!"

"Faith..." I mumbled, watching (Y/N) from afar. (Y/N)...please! Kill Ganon and come back to me safe and sound! I can't imagine life without you! Even though I went all those years without hearing from you, I still held you in my heart, because you promised to come back. You promised we would be together. You need to keep that promise, (Y/N)!

As Ares ran underneath Ganon, (Y/N) jumped, aiming for the eye in Ganon's head. I couldn't take my eyes off them... I was lying there in suspense as a bright light blinded us the moment (Y/N) made contact with Ganon's eye. The Master Sword had glowed a bright golden color before everything was white. As the sun began to rise, the light faded. The field was covered in tall grass, and (Y/N) was nowhere to be found.

"(Y/N)!" I called, standing up.

"Revali, be careful! I only just healed you!" Mipha warned, but that didn't stop me.

"(Y/N)!" I ran through the field, my wings too weak to fly. I gritted my teeth angrily, searching the field desperately. I found a black figure lying in the grass. "...Ares?" Ares was lying on his side, eyes wide open, a huge hole in the side of his body. I accidentally stepped into the pool of blood surrounding the horse, tainting the grass. "Ares..." I whispered.

"Revali, what's wrong?" Urbosa asked, running up to me. She looked down to see Ares, dead... "Ares..."

"Where's (Y/N)...?" I muttered to myself. As the champions crowded around Ares, I continued searching the field, eventually getting to the place where Dark Beast Ganon had been killed. "(Y/N)!" My eyes landed on a body lying in the field. "(Y/N)..." When I approached the body, I fell to my knees. (Y/N) was covered in blood, the Master Sword's hilt lying in their palm. Their hair in their face, bleeding from their head...heavily. "(Y/N)!" I folded my wings around them, sitting down, holding them in my lap. "(Y/N)...please respond..."

"Revali, please respond!"

"(Y/N)..."

"I am not loved, (Y/N)."

"Don't say that...That's a lie. You are loved."

"And what makes you say that?"

"Because I'm here."

But now...you aren't here. I knew (Y/N) was lying dead in my arms, but I just...couldn't accept it. I couldn't believe that the person I loved so much was gone. Someone I had waited years and years to meet, only to have them snatched out of my grasp almost as quickly as I got them. "Do...you like my feathers, (Y/N)?" I asked when their head landed against my chest. "T-They tickle you. Especially...your c-cheeks." I began shaking. "R-Remember when I got jealous of Urbosa, because I knew y-you two would become great friends? R-Remember when you told me I was a-a tsundere and all that s-shit? Do you remember w-when I got my ass kicked by that Lynel and y-you saved me? Do you remember...promising me y-you would come back? That we would love each other, and have a family together? Remember, (Y/N)? R-Remember?" I broke down sobbing, holding (Y/N)'s body close to my chest. I could feel the other champions staring at me, but I didn't care. Right now, I need to be with (Y/N). "W-Wait, Mipha!"
