[Your POV]

It wasn't that long of a climb to Vah Rudania, at least not as long as it was in the game. Then again, there were no flying guardians or monsters to slow us down. It was actually quite a nice walk. Munlo had taken me up here just yesterday, but he had been rushing me to see something. Speaking of that something, we walked past the marks scratched into the wall. The marks that read: (F/L/Y/N) x R

"Hey, Revali?" I asked. He stopped walking, and so did Daruk. "Mind telling me what this is about?" I pointed to the marks. He began blushing so hard that I could see the red through his feathers.

"I-It's nothing! Daruk began lecturing me and I got bored!" Revali said, trying to assure me it was nothing.

"Are you suuuure?" Daruk asked.

"Don't even get involved!" Revali said. "A-Anyway, let's just get to Vah Rudania already!" I suddenly grabbed my hand. "There's medical supplies there so I can fix up that horrendous burn on your face!"

I looked down at my hand to see Revali holding it, his feathery fingers intertwined with mine. I suddenly got a butterfly-like rush in my chest and my heart began pounding. "Hey, Revali? Why're you holding (Y/N)'s hand?"

"J-Just because they get distracted easily! It has no other underlying reason!" Revali said, suddenly increasing his grip on my hand, making my knees go weak, but I didn't dare stop walking. All I had to do was enjoy this moment as much as I could. I looked up at Daruk, who gave me a wink behind Revali's back.

"Alright, we're here! Daruk, where's the medical kit?" Revali asked as we entered Vah Rudania. I was expecting it to be pitch black in here, like the game, but it wasn't. Light streamed through the holes in the Divine Beast, making the inside of Vah Rudania quite beautiful. Daruk pointed to the other side of the room. Revali led me there and found a crate full of medical supplies. "Sit." He instructed, letting go of my hand. Feeling kinda lonely now, I sat down on a small crate. Looking around, I realized that there were actually quite a few crates inside Rudania. "Hold still." I felt Revali's hand on my chin, forcing me to face him. I tried not to give away the blushing on my cheeks, but it was no use. He placed a cold cloth on my face, immediately making me wince. "Oh calm down, it's just water."

"Y-Yeah, I know, but it stings." I said, looking at the wall as he continued to hold the cloth to my cheek. I tried to avoid making eye contact with him, mostly because his face was so close to mine.

"I think you may have a fever." Revali said, placing his other hand on my other cheek.

"Huh? N-No, Goron City's just really hot." I said, glancing at Revali. He was down on one knee, treating my injury.

"Your face literally just got hotter." Revali said, raising an eyebrow.

"I-It's just hot, okay!?" I said.

"No need to get aggressive." Revali said.

"Funny coming from the tsundere." I said. He just shook his head, but didn't move either of his hands. My heart felt like it was about to burst out of my chest at any moment. My mind wandered to last night, and what Revali told me about the person in the Sheikah Slate. "Hey, uh, Revali?" He looked away from my wound and before I knew it, we were looking into each other's eyes. I blinked. "U-Um, about last night, d-do you think t-that person in the Sheikah Slate will keep their promise."

"I believe they already have and they just don't know it yet." Revali said.

"Wait, really?" I asked. His eyes were wide, as if he just had some monumental realization.

"It explains so much. The deja vu-like feeling. Why I can't help but be nervous around you." Revali said.

"You're nervous around me?"

"Why I'm having these feelings. It must mean that..." He went quiet and just stared into my eyes. "It must mean that. You have their eyes. You have their hair. You have their everything. You must be-" He was suddenly cut off by Vah Rudania moving. But the Divine Beast wasn't just moving, it was climbing, sending the crates and Revali and I all around. "(Y/N)!" Revali wrapped his wings around me as Rudania began climbing uphill, forcing us into the wall. Crates came flying down towards us, but Revali kept his wings around me. I clung to him, gripping the blue sash around him. "Daruk! What is going on!?" But Daruk gave no response. Instead, Vah Rudania kept climbing it faster and faster. It wasn't too long, however, when it stopped, returning to all fours, making Revali and I fall to the ground.

"Sorry for that!" Daruk said, leaning his head through a hole in the ceiling. "Anyways, we're here!" Revali stood up, letting me go.

"C'mon. Let's see what Daruk has planned." Revali said.

"Wait, R-Revali!" I said, reaching out, holding his hand. "What were you going to say?"

"U-Um..." He stuttered, looking down at my hand and back to my pleading face. "It can wait, but Daruk can't. Let's go." On our way out, Revali picked up a bandage that must've fallen out of the medical crate. "Hold still, really quick." I stopped, standing up straight. He placed the bandaid like bandage on my burn. "Alright, let's go."

~~~~~
"Hey, Daruk?" I asked. "What's all the crates for?"
"Yeah, they could've killed us." Revali said.
"Oh, those aren't just any crates." Daruk said, reaching behind him and pulling out a little crate. Well, little compared to Daruk's hands. "They're heat proof!"
"Heat proof?" Revali asked.
"Yeah! So I can keep stuff like these..." Daruk said, pulling out a marshmallow from the little crate. "...from melting!"
"So it's like a cooler?" I asked.
"Sure, whatever that is!" Daruk said. "I have sticks!" Daruk picked up three sticks, handing one to Revali, me, and one for himself. "You put the marshmallows on the sticks! Munlo taught me this."
"These look gross." Revali said, giving his marshmallow a squish.
"They're actually quite nice, Revali." I said. "Where are we going to roast them?"
"Did you not see where Vah Rudania went?" Daruk asked. I raised an eyebrow and walked to the edge of Rudania. The Divine Beast was hovering over the volcano, but not very close to the lava. I felt Revali immediately pull me back.
"You are not allowed anywhere near lava!" Revali said, pointing sternly at me.
"But we're not near it." I said.
"Yeah, Revali." Daruk said, sitting on the edge of Rudania with the crate of marshmallows and his stick. He patted a spot next to him. Despite the last incident I had with lava, I sat down next to Daruk. I looked back at Revali, who seemed hesitant. But he walked over when I patted the spot next to me. "Hold the stick-" Daruk started explaining what to do, but I already knew. I held the stick over the lava and before I knew it, my marshmallow had caught on fire. I held it close to my face, making Revali stare, and blew the fire out. I had a nice and crisp marshmallow. I didn't think Daruk had chocolate and crackers so we could make smores, so I just ate the marshmallow right off the stick. "Wow. You're a natural!"
"T-Thanks." I said as he pat me on the back. Daruk immediately did what I did, but he constantly pulled his marshmallow away, scared of having it catch fire. I giggled and turned to Revali, who was still examining his marshmallow. "You should try it, Revali."
"F-Fine. But only because you are so insisting and pushy." Revali said, holding the stick out in front of him. I smiled and watched his marshmallow. What I didn't see was Revali staring at me sideways, his eyes softening. He couldn't keep his eyes off me, and I think he forgot I had peripheral vision.
"Um, Revali, you're marshmallow's burning." I said. He hurriedly pulled his stick towards him, blowing out the fire. His marshmallow had gone black. Daruk began laughing while Revali scowled at his marshmallow. "It's all good, Revali. It might seem really burnt and not all that tasty on the outside, but on the inside, it's sweet and yummy." I gave me a side glance before eating half his marshmallow, looking at the inside. Sure enough, I was right. He just looked at me again and the cycle continued until nightfall.
