[Your POV]

"Rise and shine, lovebirds!" Daruk yelled as he pulled the curtain to our little house open. My eyes snapped open and Revali immediately let go of me, lying on the other side of the bed. Sunlight shined through the windows. Had Revali and I stayed in that position all night. My cheeks went hot at the thought of it. "I said...RISE and SHINE, LOVEBIRDS!"

"We heard you the first time, Daruk!" Revali said, sitting right up in bed. "(Y/N), go ahead and get dressed. I'll wait outside."

"Mhmm." I hummed, nodding my head. I was too embarrassed to let Revali see my face anyway. After I saw Revali close the curtain, I got out of bed and got changed into my hot gear. I suppose that's what I should call it. As I was getting dressed, I once again overheard a conversation between Revali and Daruk. I wonder if they know that curtain's not soundproof? Now that I think about it...Daruk might know...but not Revali...

"So...what happened last night?" Daruk asked.

"N-Nothing!" Revali said.

"Uh-huh? 'Nothing'."

"Why are you being so weird about this!? It's just sharing a bed for one night! Sure, it may not be very gentlemanly, but it wasn't up to me! You're the one who said we had to share a bed!" Revali accused.

"You didn't have to listen to me, Revali." Daruk said. "You could've gone and demanded for a separate bed, or even a separate room. But you decided, on your own accord, to sleep in the same bed as (Y/N). I didn't force you to do anything."

"...You bastard!" Revali cried, pointing his feathery finger accusingly at a laughing Daruk. I couldn't help but let out a little giggle myself. So Daruk planned this whole thing, huh? I opened the curtain and greeted them. Revali, without saying a word, walked back inside the place we stayed.

"What's he gonna do in there?" Daruk asked.

"Probably clean his feathers or something like that." I said.

"And you would know?" Daruk asked with a cheesy, but cute, grin on his face. I blushed and averted my eyes. Daruk laughed, and when he ruffled my hair, I couldn't help but smile. Revali came out of the house a few moments later and Daruk explained what the plan for today was.

"Today, I will be training you over boiling hot lava!" Daruk said.

"Yeah, that's what we're doing now, Daruk!" I cried as I stood on a pole that was spouting out of boiling hot lava. Daruk had taken Revali and I to a spot where a bunch of poles were protruding from a sea of boiling hot lava. I was wearing my heat armor, so it probably wasn't as hot as it would've been without it, but it was still hot.

"I-Is this really necessary, Daruk!?" Revali yelled from the sidelines, standing on a cliff on the mountain. "This seems a bit extreme for someone of (Y/N)'s level."

"Nope! It's just the right amount of extreme!" Daruk said, who was also standing on the sidelines, next to Revali, watching me from afar. "(Y/N), just get from one side to the other!" I looked over to see a little island made of rock not too far from here. But it was too far to simply just jump. I had to jump from each pole to the other and reach the island before landing in lava. Daruk told me that he had faith I wouldn't fall into the lava, but Revali seemed indifferent.

My eyes found the poles that were closest to me and told me to make my way to those. Jumping to each pole was easy, but landing was an entirely different thing. I was wearing gloves and the poles were something like metal, I'm pretty sure, so I had to keep a tight grip. And even though my armor was supposedly heat proof, my hands would still sting from the heat that got through. After getting a good grip on the pole and climbing to the top, I found that each one was wide enough for me to stand on. This boosted my confidence and made me feel at...a bit of ease. Of course, there was still the whole 'falling into lava' thing. But would Daruk's encouragement be enough? Everytime I looked back at them, I'd see Daruk giving me double thumbs up, but Revali seemed anxious and kept covering his eyes. One time, I almost slipped off a pole and I saw Revali's wings open, like he wanted to come out and get me. Did he...lack faith in me? Or was he worried? The first one seemed more like Revali...but the second made my heart pound.

As I climbed up on top of one of the last poles, I looked back to see Revali staring at me. Our eyes met and for the faintest moment, he looked like he believed in me. But...I got so nervous...and slipped.

"(Y/N)!" I heard Revali scream as I lost my grip on the pole and began falling towards the lava. The front of my body faced the lava. I panicked and threw my hands over my head, covering my eyes. But then something happened that I definitely wasn't expecting. I felt an immense amount of pain in my arm, where the Sheikah Slate was attached. A red light shined through my armor and into the lava. My eyes widened as something was brought to the surface. I landed on that instead, but the impact forced the helmet off my head and into the lava, my cheek burning against the surface. I quickly sat up, bobbing in the lava on top of some metal square, my cheek feeling like it was about to melt off my face. "I told you! I told you this was too dangerous!"

"Hey, I told you they wouldn't fall into the lava." Daruk said.

"You are unbelievable!" Revali cried. I heard the flapping of wings and before I knew it, Revali was carrying me to the spot where he had just been standing. "Look at them! They're a wreck!" Revali propped me up with his wings and gestured to my burnt cheek.

"I'll make it up to you guys, don't worry." Daruk said, ruffling my hair as I stared dazedly at Revali. "Let get over to Rudania! I'm sure they'll be happy to meet you, (Y/N)!"
