[Your POV]

Revali landed Vah Medoh by Hyrule Castle and as the sun began to set, we made our way to the East Gate. Daruk, Urbosa, and Mipha were already there. "Where's Zelda?" I asked, giving everyone a hug.

"She's on her way with Link." Mipha said. "Did you guys feel the earthquake?"

"I don't think it was an earthquake, Mipha." Urbosa said sadly. We all stood in a line, waiting for Zelda and Link. I flashed back to the memory from the game...thinking about what would happen next... As the sun continued to set, Zelda and Link came into view. We walked towards them as they approached the gate. Zelda was wearing her white dress...

"Well? Don't keep us in suspense!" Daruk begged as Zelda and Link walked past us. "How'd everything go up there on the mountain?" We all went silent as Zelda shook her head. Sadness and dread clouded over the rest of the champions.

"So you didn't feel anything...?" Revali asked, stepping forward. "No power at all?"

"I'm sorry, no..." Zelda said, sounding ashamed. I was silent. I didn't know what else to do other than let the scene play out... It's not like I had anything to add...

"Then let's move on." Urbosa said to Zelda. "You've done all you could. Feeling sorry for yourself won't be of any help. After all, it's not like your last shot was up there on Mount Lanayru." She was trying to be optimistic while realistic at the same time... "Anything could finally spark the power to seal Ganon away. We just have to keep looking for that...thing..."

"...That's kind of you..." Zelda said sadly, staring at the ground. "Thank you..."

"If I may..." Mipha said, walking up to Zelda. "I thought you...Well, I'm not sure how to put this into words...I'm actually quite embarrassed to say it." She hesitated.

"Go on, Mipha..." I whispered. Mipha nodded.

"But...I was thinking about what I do when I'm healing..." Mipha continued. "You know, what usually goes through my mind. It helps when I think-" She glanced at Link. "When I think about-" There was a loud rumble, interrupting Mipha. The ground began shaking again. Revali wrapped both his wings around me, pulling me close to his chest. Link helped Zelda stay in place. Revali looked to the sky and gasped.

"I'll be right back, (Y/N)." He said, letting go of me. I leaned against Daruk as he flapped into the air, looking towards Hyrule Castle. I knew his eyes would widen and that he would gasp...I didn't need to look at him to know. Everyone looked up, seeing a dark purple cloud clog up the sky around the castle, strikes of purple lightning brightened the sky. A dark entity circled the castle with glowing yellow eyes. No one else had seen it but Revali and I. An ear-splitting roar filled the sky, but no one plugged their ears. Instead, we all looked ahead, ready to fight. Revali landed next to me.

"It's here." Urbosa said.

"This is it, then..." Daruk said in a determined voice.

"Are you sure?" Mipha asked.

"Positive." Revali said.

"...It's awake..." Zelda said. "...Ganon!" Thunder and flashes of lightning filled the sky. I looked at the rest of the champions. None of them were shaking. None of them seemed scared. They were ready and so was I. Zelda gasped and took a step back.

"Let's stop wasting time!" Daruk said, turning to Zelda. "We're gonna need everything we got to take that thing down! Now champions! To your Divine Beasts! Show that swirling swine who's boss! Link will need to meet Ganon head on when we attack! This needs to be a unified assault! Little guy!" Daruk turned to Link. "You get to Hyrule Castle." Revali scoffed, looking away from Link and down at me. "You can count on us for support. But it's up to you to pound Ganon into oblivion!"

"Come, we should go." Urbosa said, placing her hands on Zelda's shoulders, trying to comfort her. "We need to get you someplace safe."

"...No!" Zelda said. "I am not a child anymore! I may not be much use on the battlefield...but there must...there must be something I can do to help!" Everyone was silent. I stared at everyone. I was frozen...not knowing what to do. If they all return to their Divine Beasts, they'll all be killed!

"Right now, we need to get to our Divine Beasts-" Daruk started, but I interrupted him.

"No! You can't!" I shouted. "You'll be-" I stopped myself, knowing how crazy it would sound.

"We'll be...what?" Daruk asked.

"You'll...you'll die if you go to your Divine Beasts!" I said, tears streaming down my cheeks.

"But we need to get back to our Divine Beasts to protect Hyrule!" Mipha said.

"No, you don't!" I said. "You can fight Ganon yourself, with your powers."

"(Y/N), what are you saying?" Revali asked.

"Revali, you can't go back for Medoh, Ganon's corrupted them!" I said. "Please, you have to believe me!"

"How do you know all this, (Y/N)?" Zelda asked. I panicked, trying to think of an excuse.

"You know...that guardian? The one that attacked me my first night here in Hyrule?" I said. They all nodded. "It wasn't a malfunction. That thing was corrupted by Ganon! It wouldn't have tried to kill Revali and I if it wasn't!" There was a loud elephant like screech.

"Ruta!" Mipha screamed. "I need to help Ruta!"

"You can't, Mipha!" I cried, stopping her. "Ruta's been corrupted by Ganon's power!"

"(Y/N), you're scaring everyone." Link said.

"I-I'm not trying to, I just can't lose you!" I screamed. "Please, listen to me!"

"I...I need to check on Medoh..." Revali said.

"Revali, don't-" But I stopped when a shadow passed over us in the sky. Vah Medoh. Something dropped from Medoh, flying straight towards us. "Revali!" I ran towards him and wrapped my arms around his torso, shoving the both of us away from the oncoming shot. It exploded right where Revali was standing. Zelda and Mipha screamed while Urbosa ran over to us.

"Revali, (Y/N)'s right. Medoh just tried to kill you!" Urbosa said, helping us up. Revali's eyes were wide and he was silent.

He wrapped his wings around me, burying his beak in my hair. "Medoh..." He whispered weakly. I could tell he wanted to cry... Even though Medoh wasn't a person, they were one of the most important things to Revali.

"No Divine Beasts." Urbosa said. "(Y/N), do you have any ideas?"

"Guardians will be taking this place over pretty soon." I said. "We need to evacuate the townspeople and face Ganon head on."

"No Divine Beasts..." Urbosa repeated. "...Naboris..." I looked around. I could tell everyone was worried about the Divine Beasts.

"...If we kill Ganon, we can save the Divine Beasts..." I said. Everyone looked at me. "Once Ganon is defeated, everything will go back to normal. All these monsters won't be so overpowered by Ganon's magic, the Divine Beasts will go back to normal, and...we can live in peace... But we need to live. I'm...I'm not letting any of you die..." I sniffed, wiping the tears from my eyes.

"...Alright, if we're doing this, we have to do it now." Daruk said. "Zelda, do you think you can help evacuate the townspeople? It's...the safest job we have right now."

"I will do what I can." Zelda said.

"Alright. The rest of us are going to Hyrule Castle." Daruk said.

"But I need to protect Zelda-" Link started.

"You can protect Zelda by killing Ganon, Link." Urbosa said, pulling out her sword. "Zelda, how many guardians would you say are around Hyrule Castle?"

"Well...hundreds at the least." Zelda said. "I'm sorry."

"It's nothing to be sorry about, Princess." Mipha said. "Once you evacuate the townspeople, get somewhere safe."

"We'll have this over in no time." Revali said, giving me a squeeze. Yeah...in no time...
