[Your POV]
I need to look for the glowing points! I looked back to see Zelda riding Ares towards me. "(Y/N)!" Zelda yelled, holding out her hand. As she was about to ride past me, she grabbed onto my hand, pulling me onto the back of Ares, behind her. "The energy covering Ganon's body is called Malice. None of your attacks will get through as he is now... I will hold the Malice back as much as I can, but my power is waning. Attack any glowing points you see!" She let go of the reins, trusting Ares. But the horse knew what to do. The Champions did their best to help, but when they realized Ganon was coated in Malice, they had to wait for Zelda's signal. The six of us circled around Dark Beast Ganon. Zelda pressed her hands together, focusing her energy as I held the Bow of Light at the ready, sheathing the Master Sword. Right now, the bow was important.
I remember the first time I used a bow and arrow...
"I-Is this T-The Great Eagle Bow!?"
"Of course it is! You think I would use some simpleton bow!?"
"N-No! But it's such an amazing bow...why are you trusting me to use it?"
That was the day after I first met Revali. He allowed me to use The Great Eagle Bow...because he trusted me. Now I need to trust him. Trust that he will be healed.
"May we be victorious!" Everyone cried in unison.
"I'm holding back the Malice! Go, (Y/N), Ares!" Zelda cried. The white triangles appeared on Ganon's body and a golden arrow appeared in the string. I had put a normal arrow there, but now it's golden! I focused my aim. Luckily, Ganon was moving relatively slowly, but Ares was running pretty fast, doing his best to avoid Ganon's spits of fire. I let go of the arrow and it went flying through the triangle. Ganon grunted as another arrow appeared. I fired that one and I hit it! Suddenly, Zelda slumped back against my chest.
"Zelda!?" I cried. Dark Beast Ganon turned around, paying no mind to Link, Urbosa, or Daruk. He spotted me and opened his mouth wide, purple fire flowing towards us, burning the grass.
"H-Hurry, (Y/N)! We're so close!" Zelda cried, pressing her hands together. She's right! The triangles were still there, I just had to shoot them all! I aimed for the one on Ganon's thigh, hitting it. Ares understood what was happening, and only moved when he had to. He tried to stay steady so I could shoot. He ran underneath Ganon, to the other side. I looked back, another arrow appearing. I shot Ganon's other thigh. Every time Ganon tried to attack Zelda, Ares, and I, the champions would distract him, getting him to attack them instead. Luckily, none of them were getting themselves killed.
A drew back the string and shot Ganon's side triangles. One appeared underneath him and Ares ran for it. When I was right underneath it, I pointed the bow straight up, shooting. Zelda's hands fell to either side of her as she lost consciousness. "Zelda!" I screamed. Ganon was weak, but not weak enough. I needed to take the final blow, but the triangles disappeared. "Urbosa!" Urbosa ran up to me as Ares came to a stop.
"It's okay, (Y/N)." Urbosa said, holding Zelda bridal style. "You need to find the weak spot."
"You can do it, (Y/N)!" Daruk said.
"(Y/N), do it." Link said. "We believe in you."
I took a deep breath and nodded, looking over at Mipha. Revali was lying on the grass, unconscious, but Mipha gave me a reassuring nod. I looked up Ganon, who pointed his horns at me. "Alright...Ares, we need a running start." I said. I had a plan in my head, but I wasn't quite sure what else to do. It was hardly a plan and didn't guarantee success...but it might be possible. I guess you could say that I was...winging it, in a way. Ares ran away from Dark Beast Ganon, then turned back around, galloping forward at top speed. I wrapped the Bow of Light around my shoulders, pulling out the Master Sword. I slowly stood up on Ares' back, balancing almost perfectly. I gripped the hilt of the sword in both my hands. The champions got out of the way, rushing back towards Mipha. They knew only I could do this.
I saw the beams of light shooting from Ganon's lowered head as he charged towards us. Ares would be able to slip underneath him...but not with me. Before we made contact with Ganon, I put all my energy in my legs and jumped off Ares, who then ducked underneath Ganon. I positioned the sword so it would strike Ganon head first. The Master Sword...The Sword That Seals the Darkness...it began glowing a golden hue.
"Good luck sealing the darkness!"
I know he never said that to me...but he did in the game...he said it to Link...and I need all the luck I can get, Revali... As I came down onto Ganon's head, it opened to reveal that disgusting orange eye.
"Now, (Y/N)!" Everyone cried in unison. The moment the tip of the sword made contact, Ganon gunk splattered all over my body. The explosion was followed by a bright light emitting from the Master Sword. Ganon shrieked as I plunged the sword deeper and deeper. I bit my lip so hard, I started bleeding. The light became so bright, it was unbearable to look at. Then...everything went white.
I was...floating...in empty space. Ganon and everyone had disappeared. Was it just the light? "What are you doing up there?" A cocky voice asked. I looked down to see Revali, pulling at my ankle. He seemed to be in touch with gravity- WAIT!
"REVALI!" I screamed, sheathing the Master Sword and wrapping my arms around him. "You're okay!"
"I mean...I guess..." He said, blushing. "Mipha's still healing me."
"What do you mean?" I asked, burying my face in his feathers, crying up a storm.
"(Y/N)..." Revali mumbled. "We're...dead..." I looked up at Revali. "But don't worry, I'm sure it won't last long..."
"Revali..." I said, kissing his cheek.
"Hey, (Y/N)...we'll be okay." Revali said. "I still need to teach you how to kiss me properly~"
"R-Revali!" I cried. "Is now really the time!?"
"I mean, I don't see much wrong with the situation." Revali said. Suddenly, Revali began...fading. Becoming transparent.
"Revali?" I said, reaching for his wing, but my hand went right through. "Revali, don't leave me!"
"I'll never leave you, (Y/N)." Revali said as he completely faded away. "Never..."
"Revali!" I screamed, but my cries just echoed. My mind began feeling hazy and I began disappearing too.
"(Y/N)!"
"(Y/N), come back to us!"
"(Y/N), you need to live!"
"Wake up, kid!"
"(Y/N), you need to see what you did!"
"(Y/N), I love you...you need to wake up..."
I blinked and was no longer the white abyss. I looked up through squinted eyes, seeing Link, Zelda, Urbosa, Daruk, Mipha, and Revali surrounding me. The sun was rising over the field. It was empty, except for Ares and us. "(Y/N)!" Everyone screamed, practically piling on top of me, hugging me.
"Guys!" I said. I was suddenly pulled away from the rest of the group, into a pair of feathery arms. "Revali!" I hugged him and he hugged me. He held each other so tightly, I didn't think either of us would let go.
"I thought I told you to stay in Hyrule Castle!" Revali said, tears dampening his feathers.
"Shut up!" I said. "Let's get mad at each other later!"
"You're right..." Revali said, picking me up and spinning me. The others huddled around us, going in with a group a hug. Suddenly there was a small flash of light, making everyone flinch. I looked over to see Ares, holding a Sheikah Slate in his mouth.
"Ares!" I cried, hugging my horse as well. He dropped the Sheikah Slate in my hands, revealing a photo. The photo was of all of us in that group just now. Ares must've accidentally taken a picture...and I was fine with that... I kissed Ares' snout and gave him a rub.
"So, we did it!" Urbosa said, happily kicking some grass. "We killed Ganon!"
"We really did!" Zelda said, hugging Urbosa.
"Ganon has been vanquished!" Daruk yelled with a laugh.
"Yes!" Mipha cried as Link picked her up bridal style, spinning her around in joy.
Revali picked me up, holding me on his shoulder. "Ganon is dead! Hyrule is safe!" We yelled. We yelled so loud, knowing all of Hyrule would hear us.
