Brynn's Pov

That night

Tonight we leave. I'm saying bye to my little brothers, sister, and mom. I'm also waiting for Ricky to come here.

I have Sam's address programmed into my GPS already. We decided that we're taking my car since it has a lot of space to lay down in the back and it's easier on gas.

I have snacks and drinks and pillows and blankets loaded up into the car. So, we're ready, it's just waiting for Ricky to get his ass over here.

"Brynn, can I come with you?" Kyler asked.

"I'm sorry, buddy, but no, you gotta go to school" I said as I ruffled his shaggy hair.

Then the doorbell rang. I answered it, it was Ricky, he wasn't wearing make-up, he was wearing a T-shirt and sweatpants- black, of course.

"You ready to go, Ricky?" I asked. He nodded, I hugged my family one last time before walking out the door.

"I can't believe I'm going on a road trip with a person I've only known for a few days" I said before getting into the heat of my car.

"If it makes you feel any better, I moved across the country to join a band with five strangers" he said.

"Yeah, actually. That does make me feel better" I said sarcastically as we turned onto the main road.

"Well, I'm not serial killer or rapist" he said.

"Nice to know, Mr. I-Don't-Know-your-Last-Name" I said.

"It's Olson, what's your last name, Ms. I-Also-Don't-Know-your-Last-Name?" He asked.

"It's Stevens" I told him. He smiled, his lip rings poking out as he smiled.

"Brynn Stevens, has a nice ring to it" he said.

"Well, I would hope so, I have to live with my last name until I get married or die" I said.

"Hmm. Brynn Olson also has a nice ring to it" he mumbled.

"What?" I asked, trying to play dumb.

"Nothing!" He said. That was weird.

Ricky's POV

"Nothing!" I said. Ricky, you can be such an idiot sometimes! That was too close of a call, why did I even say that?

It's not like she likes me the same way, like she said, she's only know me for a few days.

How am I gonna survive this road trip without trying to pull a move on her? She's so beautiful.

I hope I don't ruin our new found friendship at all during this trip...
