Everyone was working hard to rebuild the guild hall, Satomi had also pitched in for a few hours already. The shock that hit her once she returned from her quest, only to discover the guild being reduced to a pile of rubble was hard. Once she got the story about everything that happened guilt tore at her for not being there to help. Despite everything that had been going on she had no idea, and no one had thought to ask for her help since no one really knew who she was. Now she sat at the bar, talking loosely with Mirajane about the matter, the lengths Phantom had gone to simply to get a hold of one of theirs... The shapeshifter glanced sideways at the blonde talking to Happy a few metres away, the young girl had been put through a lot but she kept smiling even so.

Satomi's attention got drawn away from Lucy, as an argument started behind her. Of course it had to be Laxus running his arrogant mouth. She watched him as he insulted Jet and Droy.

"I would have come to help if blondie over there had agreed to my proposition" Satomi couldn't stand the tone of his voice, but inclined her head towards Mirajane just barely in curiosity.

"Proposition?" The white haired waitress gave her a look that told her it was nothing good.

"He conditioned that Lucy would have to become his woman, if he were to help" Satomi frowned deeply in disgust, her instincts snarling at the meaning of those words. The lightning mage boasted about inhereting the guild, and kicking everyone out.

"I'm the strongest mage in this guild, none of you weaklings can hold a candle to me" The more he talked the more Satomi was filled with a feeling of deep disappointment and loathing. Suddenly his eyes met hers, a loopsided arrogant smirk making its way to his lips.

"Except maybe you... Let's put it to the test, no?" Satomi's stare grew hard and cold, she had no interest in having any sort of interaction with him. The shapeshifter stared at him while considering her options, it was unlikely that he'd back down, so she didn't really seem to have any choice. Just as the thought passed through her mind he shot a beam of lightning at her. Mirajane jumped back and away from the attack, but Satomi didn't budge, taking the hit straight on. The lightning cracked in her ears, raging along her skin furiously, but it didn't hurt her. She smirked at him mischievously through the blinding light, wiping away the smug look on his face. The big man jerked as she latched onto his mind, silencing his magic and bending his will to hers. His lightning died out around her, and she leaned back against the bar counter. She was still seated comfortably on her bar stool and picked up her coffee, never breaking his stare. No one said anything, not knowing what was really going on. This particular attribute of Satomi's power was invisible, so the only person feeling it was Laxus.

"Your lightning cannot hurt me" Her tone was cool as she watched him glare at her, mentally struggling against her restraints, tossing and tearing at her grip on his being. Murmuring passed through their crowd of onlookers as they wondered why he'd stopped his attacks. Their doubting questions angered him even further, and he struggled harder despite it not having any effect on Satomi.

"You're gonna hurt yourself if you continue to struggle" Satomi sipped her coffee, her bored statement only riling him further.

"If you're too scared to face me head on and only restrain me, then you might as well just spread your legs for me now" Satomi's eyes narrowed in annoyance, Laxus continued to glare at her. A new murmur broke out at the distasteful statement as it was clarified that Satomi was the one who'd somehow stopped him in his tracks.

"It seems like you don't quite understand the predicament you've placed yourself in dear. Allow me to clear things up. My 'command' is absolute, as long as I hold you in my grip you're at my mercy. So tell me, how does it feel having your lungs collapse on you? Not to mention the blood clogging up in there as well?" Shock and disbelief filled his eyes as his breathing grew strained, and shortly after a violent cough rumbled from his chest, blood splattering from his mouth. Satomi's expression was unmovable as the blonde struggled desperately. She forced him to continue to stand when his knees wanted to buckle. His heart pounded in his chest. A new worried murmur occurred, Laxus' skin grew paler, until it began turning blue. The blonde groaned in agony at the painful lack of oxygen. Satomi continued to drink her coffee as his body shook from his struggle. After a moment Satomi stood from her seat, strolling over to him completely relaxed.
