Chapter 13

Lizzie's POV

My dream was amazing, then it got crazy, and boy drama shit went down.

It was me and Matt. Turns out we got married and it was five years after the surgery. We were living a happy life in the suburbs.

But then one day Matt went to work and I here a knock at the door, I opened the door and to my surprise there was Cameron Dallas with a bundle of flowers.

"Cameron?"
After I said his name he slammed his lips into mine.

Then I woke up.

Do I really still have feelings for Cameron?

No I have feelings for Matt.

But what if I secretly loved Cameron.

Lizzie stop!

I pushed all my feelings aside.

I got up and decided to see if Jamie is home.

I walk in to her room to see her in sheets and right next to her is a butt naked man.

Like I am literally looking at his ass.

To be honest he has a nice ass.

Oh my god Lizzie stop!

I looked away shook my head, and walked out of the room.

I decided to make breakfast.

I made chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, and bacon with milk or orange juice.

I herd someone come down out of the room.

I had my back turned so I didn't know who it was.

"Hey Lizzie I have something to tell you.." It was Jamie.

Then I hear more bare feet on the hard wooden floor.

Then I totally forgot I was in black spandex and a almost see through white tank top.

Shit.

Trying to wipe the embarrassed look off my face.

I turned around with the hot pan full of eggs.

Then I dropped them, along with my jaw.

The pan landed I directly on my foot.

But I hardly felt it because all I feel is someone stabbing me in the back.

It was Cameron in boxers.

I looked down at my foot.

"Well...I need to go and get some bandages." I try to say without breaking into tears.

I slid my foot out from under the burning pan. I walk past Jamie.

Without looking at her I said, "there are pancakes and bacon on the table, help yourself."
"Lizzie.."
I walked away but before I could get five steps away Cameron grabbed my arm.

"Lizzie wait."
I yanked my arm away and looked at him with tears streaming down my face.
"Don't you dare." I shot him a death glare and walked away.

As soon as I got to the bathroom I broke down.

I started sobbing.

Not because of my badly burnt foot, that I still couldn't feel because of all the pain that's already in my body.

I grabbed the Alo Vera (A/N That green stuff you put in sunburns, I don't know for sure how to spell it) and rub it all over my burn.

After about 5 minutes of sobbing, I decided to get my act together.

I decided to text Matt.

To Matt:

Hey something happened and I can't drive to the hospital and I need help. It's nothing too major. I just need a ride. Can you come and get me?

From Matt:

On the way.

I smile. I dry my tears and walk out of the bathroom.

I look in the kitchen and see Jamie and Cameron staring at me.

I walked towards my room and got dressed.

I didn't care what I wore today.

I put my hair in a messy bun, put on a sports bra, then a LA sweatshirt, then some Victoria Secrets PINK sweatpants and some off brand Uggs which stung as I put them on my burnt foot. (A/N I do not support Uggs in real life so I'm not going to support them in fiction books either.)

I realized I didn't look attractive, but I wasn't dressing to impress anyone.

My phone went off.

From Matt:

I'm here Liz.

To Matt:

Okay, be out in two.

I walk out of my room.

I get into the kitchen and look directly at Jamie.

"I'm going to the hospital. Enjoy the breakfast."

Before they could say anything I didn't have time to hear. I walk/jogged to the door.

Matt was waiting outside his car.

I almost broke down when I saw him.

But I decided to be strong.

I walked up to him and gave him a big hug.

His hugs were always the best.

He walked me over to the passenger side and opened the door.

I got in and he shut the door and got in the drivers seat.

"What to tell me what happened?" He asked.
I nodded.

Then I started from the beginning of the morning, leaving out the dream, and told him everything.

Shedding a few years here and there.

Then we got to the hospital.
