Just hearing her say that makes me wonder not only just how lucky she is but also what if the knife went higher or lower or entered in the front of her chest??

It's been a month since the attack on Ginny and Mia. Madam Pomfrey released both of them from the Hospital Wing that morning and we handed them the clothes we had brought with us and headed down to breakfast making sure no one knocked into the girls and helping them down the stairs trying to make sure their wounds don't open again. Their wounds have fully healed luckily and they didn't have to go back to the Hospital Wing however Professor McGonagall gave the girls the week off however Mia was determined to prove she was fine and desperately wanted to head back to class. I managed to persuade Mia to take off at least a day to rest, which she did thankfully.

It has been relatively peaceful since that day nut that doesn't mean it isn't stressful, the heads are busy planning a Christmas ball for Christmas but also to remember that we still are alive so we need to live a bit, especially those who lost a parent, sibling, aunt, uncle, cousin family member, friend or family friend in the war. So far we have decided that we will charm the ceiling to snow, we'll with have butterbeer, the Weird Sisters, food made by the House Elves, an ice sculpture and enchanted mistletoe than will stop a pair of fourth-year students and older under it, until they kiss, Mia's idea. Oh and a Christmas tree of course,

The Christmas Ball is planned for just after the start of the Christmas Hols so for the 20th as the hols start a week before that. Ginny, Harry, Blaise, Luna, Neville, Mia and myself have been given permission to leave on the 24th to visit our family as everyone but Harry has to stay at school as we are required at the Ball however Harry wanted to attend the Ball because he still feels guilty for everyone who died no matter how much Luna, Gin or Mia try to convince him otherwise. The Christmas Ball is in two weeks and students leave in one.

I have no clue but I have a feeling this peace just won't last. But then it hasn't ever lasted long for Mia and Harry has it! Haha, anyway I just have this gut feeling that something bad is going to happen and we won't be able to stop it.

Mione POV

I got up this morning to finalize ideas and the food for the Christmas Ball but stopped when I went to shower catching the scar Daphne caused on my back, I just stopped dead in my tracks. I didn't even realize I was crying or that Dray sensed my distressed that I didn't realize I was in until he was whispering sweet nothings into my ear and wiping the tears away.

I ended up fall back to sleep due to crying myself to exhaustion, who would have thought the thin white line on my back would upset me more than the foul word written permanently on my arm. Because I certainly didn't.

I woke again and this time I quickly got in the shower and then dressed. I then headed down to the lounge and saw everyone sat running through food ideas for the Ball. I grabbed a sandwich from the Kitchenette and muttered a small apology for being late. Luna said, "You have no reason to apologize for Mione we can't understand how you are feeling, well Gin may be able to guess and Draco does because of your bond but that doesn't matter. You are allowed to be hurt, upset and angry at Daphne for what she did, I know I would be if she did it to me. Don't bottle it, Mione, because everyone knows what happened last time. You are beautiful, kind, caring, generous and honest people can trust you and everyone who matters adores you for who you are. Your scars only show your strength. It tells others how you survived something which shows your strength, strength isn't just physical bu..."
"Yeah but Mione throws a great right hook. And oh boy I remember it." Dray interrupted Luna and rubbed his nose as he remembers the pain of a broken nose. Luna glared at Dray because he interrupted her then continued with what she was saying.  "It's not just physical strength but mental and emotional, Mione. And you are strong!" I had tears running down my face and a small smile on my face, I hug Luna and then wipe the tears away and said, "Your right Luna. I won't bottle it again, but we need to get on with the Ball as we are running out of time to get this all organised."

We then planned the food we were going to have, we decided we should do finger food so cocktail sausages, small sausage rolls, cheese cubes, small sandwiches, small pieces of pizza etc. We also decided to have chocolate pudding, which made Luna happy, and sweet biscuits, sweets and cake.
