"Emma, you're always the same." Anneliese starts by complaining as she watches her friend walk slowly as she yawns. Anneliese grabs the handle of her bag starting to walk towards the panel that shows the list of flights and the gates that people had to go to for their flight.
"Surely the gate isn't even on the panel yet, why the hurry?" The sleepy girl scratches her eyes as she approaches Anneliese who was standing by looking for her flight number. "See? They won't reveal the gate for another 20 minutes." Emma points to the panel and grabs the bag, drags it to the seats and sits down, puts her legs on top of the bag and rests her body on the back of the seat.
"We got lucky." Anneliese says as she sits next to Emma, she was closing her eyes again. "You stay up late talking to that annoying Mason and then you're sleepy."
"I'm hoping one day you'll stop hating Mason." Emma says in a sigh looking at the girl who kept complaining.
"Never."

The girls left Copenhagen to Bangkok, it was a flight of ten hours and thirty-five minutes. As soon as they arrived in Bangkok, the girls were going to switch planes, but two hours were left. They went through security and went to look for something to eat that was cheaper than the absurd prices on the planes; sitting side by side, with their legs on top of their baggage, they ate in silence. Anneliese all happy with the snickers she bought for a good price and Emma distracted drinking her coffee while texting her mother that they were fine and the 'annoying Mason' as Anneliese called him.
"Ko Samui, gate 560." A voice is heard all over the airport. "Ko Samui, gate 560." They repeated. Emma and Anneliese took their things and looked around at the signs to see which way was the gate 560.
Pulling the wheeled bags by the handles and walking in a slightly fast pace, the girls finally arrived at gate 560. After walking around for a good five minutes. The passengers were already lining up at the door, and the flight attendants started calling people one by one. Fortunately, there was only an hour and ten minutes left.
Anneliese and Emma showed the tickets, and they went one after the other into the plane. Looking for their seats, twenty and twenty-one. The short-haired blonde girl sighted first and sat down on the side of the window, making Emma laugh and sat down next to her while shaking her head.

As they left Samui airport, the girls took a taxi to the resort where they made their reservations. Thank God it was ten minutes away from the airport. The people were all nice and welcoming. Anneliese and Emma looked out of the taxi windows, enjoying the view. The island of Koh Samui was, in fact, one of the most beautiful places. It's the second largest island in the country, losing only to the chaotic Phuket. The white sandy beaches bathed by a crystal blue sea and coral rocks that border perfection, made Koh Samui one of the most visited islands in all of Southeast Asia.
The car stopped. They left after paying and thanked the nice driver with a smile. They grab their bags and look back at the entrance to the Anantara Lawana resort. One of the best known resorts on the island. A five-star luxury, with modern Thai style suites and spacious villas. Emma walks behind Anneliese who went all the way to the reception.
As they approached the reception, they saw several guests coming in and others leaving. Several well-dressed employees attending people with a smile. Anneliese stopped behind a very dear old couple and Emma approached her while she put her passport inside her bag and took out her mobile phone. The blonde looked around, seeing the decorations of the entrance and several people leaving and entering the resort until she woke up from her thoughts when she was called by a man from the reception.
"Good morning, welcome to Anantara Lawana." The boy welcomes the girls with a huge smile on his face. Anneliese looked at him and noticed that he was dressed differently than the other employees, so he must be someone important. She didn't even notice the badge he was wearing in his white shirt with his name on it.
"Good morning. Thank you." Anneliese says. "We have a reservation, on behalf of Anneliese Nielsen." He nodded his head while writing the girl's name on the computer and looking at the screen.
"Okay. It's right here." He says, taking his eyes off the screen and focusing on the girl in front of him. The man stretches his arm out to a box of cards and puts two with the same number. "Your room will be the 237. We have various services and activities, if there's a problem don't excite about calling or coming to the reception."
"Alright, thank you!" Anneliese says with a smile, grabbing her luggage.
"Enjoy your holidays!"
Anneliese nodded while smiling at the young man in front of her. With the cards in her hand, she pulls Emma by the arm that was distracted writing something on her cell phone, which before being pulled looked at the boy in front and smiled thanking him as well.
"He was cute." Emma comments, making Anneliese roll her eyes.
The girls walked to their room and passed the card on the door. After a green light, they hear the door unlocking. Emma grabs the handle and turns to the side, opening the door. They enter the suite and look around, fascinated; the suite was elegantly decorated including a balcony with outdoor seating.
They put their bags down and went to see the whole suite. On a table was the Wi-Fi password, they had a cable TV and a DVD player. The bathroom was quite spacious.
"This bathroom is bigger than my whole house." Emma comments amid giggles, coming out of the bathroom and seeing Anneliese sitting on the couch with her legs crossed while looking at a little pamphlet. "What's that?"
"All we can do here." Anneliese answers, without taking her eyes off the pamphlet. "We have several water sports, organized walks and even massages in the room. Library and a fitness center." Emma rolled her eyes.
"I came on vacation, not to run." Emma comments. "Something about swimming with sharks?" Anneliese rolls her eyes and laughs.
"You wanna go do–" The blonde was gonna ask her friend when she saw her lying on the bed and hugging a pillow.
"Not leaving till dinnertime." Emma says it almost in a whisper while closing her eyes.
