Anneliese was 41 weeks pregnant, she was super uncomfortable. Medical care was doubled for correct monitoring of maternal-fetal well-being. With all this time of pregnancy, the placenta began to show signs of wear and tear, which, if they did, could impair the exchange of oxygen and the supply of nutrients to the baby.

The blonde's body was preparing for childbirth. She began to feel more intense and painful contractions as her cervix began to dilate. She had to continue her breathing exercises and perineal muscles. She began to rescue the contractions, so that when they became regular, for example, three contractions every fifteen minutes would mean that she had gone into labor.

She was trying to stay calm, relaxed and calm, even though she was dying of pain. But that night even worse, Kai wanted to take her to the maternity ward immediately, but the blonde refused. He sat on the couch, taking a deep, quiet breath so as not to annoy the blonde anymore. While she was sitting on the couch, Kai had gone to her room to confirm that she was ready to leave the house at any moment. Anneliese's bag and the baby's were ready, the girl's ID was already in the bag as well as the pregnant woman's health report and the things they bought after they were missing.

At one point in the evening, Anneliese began to feel more frequent, long and strong contractions. Kai kept insisting on going to the maternity ward, but Anneliese was still standing in the back until the blonde felt a great deal of liquid flowing down her legs. The amniotic sac had ruptured. Kai looked at Anneliese and said nothing, he ran up to the bedroom and grabbed the bags, took the girl's phone and charger, her house keys and held her hand.

"Imagine if you weren't stubborn."

When they arrived at the hospital, the nurses took Anneliese to a room, Kai went behind while sending a message to Emma and Rhea to meet them at the hospital. He put his cell phone away and joined Anneliese again in the room, the girl was lying on the stretcher trying to contain herself so as not to scream in pain. Kai took the girl's hand and with her other hand made little caresses in her hair.

"I'm here. Okay?" Kai whispers. Anneliese nods. "Do what you've been doing at home. Take a deep breath."

It had been the six longest hours of Anneliese's life and even Kai's. As soon as the baby was born, the hospital staff made sure she stayed warm. Newborns have no ability to control their temperature well, so it's important that they keep her warm and dry. So they wrapped the baby in a white towel and placed her on Anneliese's arms. Skin-to-skin contact would help to keep her warm and let the two of them to start bonding as well.

"Have you thought about the name for the baby?" The doctor asks, Anneliese and Kai look at each other and again at the doctor nodding.

"Haewon."

After that, Kai left Anneliese and baby Haewon in the care of the doctors and hospital staff while he went to the hospital reception. As soon as he passed the doors, he saw Suho accompanied by Emma and Rhea; all three were sitting in their chairs talking and he approached his friends who quickly got up when they noticed his presence.

"How did it go? How is she? And the baby? Are they okay?" Emma fires a bunch of questions at once making Kai laugh.

"It went well, they're both fine." Kai answers with a big smile on his face.

"When is she going to the room? When can we see them?" Rhea asks excited to see Anneliese and the baby.

"They were going to take her now, in a little while they should say something."

"You're a dad!" Suho exclaims. Kai chuckles.

"I'm a dad!" He says. "Still hard to believe."

"Did you hold her? Did you cry? Be honest." Emma crosses her arms and looks at Kai. He bites his lip.
