Chapter Twenty-Two

The couple quickly joined the other three and continued their way to the restaurant. Finally they arrived at the restaurant chosen by Rhea, they had been walking around for a good ten minutes because it was in a hidden street and the girl had forgotten the way until there she remembered to use the gps of her mobile phone.

Dinner had been nice, lots of conversation, wine, pasta and pizzas. Italian food was the girls' favourite food and the boys didn't object because they enjoyed it too. Anneliese and Emma intrigued with Rhea how she had found that restaurant, to which she replied she found it when she was looking for McDonald's and got lost. Maybe the tour guides weren't so good because they didn't know half of their town and got lost often. 

After dinner, Emma and Anneliese had paid, they wouldn't let the boys pay because they never let them pay at Koh Samui - and they didn't let Rhea pay hers either - They left the restaurant and returned to the crowded main streets of the Danish capital and began to walk through the hustle and bustle. Rhea looked at the various open bars, stopped and looked at the four in front of her.

"What do you say we go to a bar before we go home?" Rhea suggested with a smile on her face looking at her friends.

"I'm in. It depends on the tourists here if they feel tired to go or not." Anneliese answers looking at Suho and Kai. Kai chuckles shaking his head.

"I think I can handle a drink or two." He says. 

"Great. You can drink for me." Anneliese looks at Kai and then Rhea reminding them of her low tolerance for alcohol. Emma looks at Suho who was a bit uncertain, but ends up talking.

"I think I'll pass. I'm really tired and I can't wait to lay down and get some sleep." Suho says with his hand to the back of his head. Emma shakes her head.

"I'll take him to the hotel and then go home." Emma says holding Suho's hand. He intertwined his fingers with Emma's.

"You guys have fun. Don't drink too much and don't lose sight of him." He says pointing to Kai, Kai makes an offended look and looks at the girls next to him who were laughing.

Suho said goodbye to Anneliese and Rhea as well as Emma said goodbye to her friends and Kai. The three of them left and Rhea was still being heard numbering bars that were nice to go to and Anneliese begging the girl not to take them to any more tricky streets. Emma laughed and turned to Suho. The couple went to the opposite side. Emma was quiet, thoughtful until she looked at Suho and smiled.

"I was thinking..." Emma starts. Getting the boy's attention. He looks at her with his brow raised.

"About? Don't tell me you don't know where the hotel is. Should we call them?" Suho asks stopping and looking back. Emma giggles and shakes her head.

"No, no. I know where the hotel is." 

"Okay. Then what's up? What were you thinking?" He almost sighed with relief and waited for the girl to say what he was thinking. 

"My parents are away." Emma starts. "What if you come to my house tonight?" Suho giggles, but he's a little hesitant though he wants to accept it.

"It depends of how much you'll get in trouble if we're caught." Suho replies. 

"We just have to get up early." Emma shrugs.

"Show me the way."

The time at the bar hadn't lasted long for the three of them. The couple was leaning against the counter where Kai had ordered his second drink and Anneliese was drinking her orange juice all happy in life, and the person who had suggested going was already tired. Even though they lasted a few hours, they were all tired and nobody wanted to be the killjoy. Rhea and Emma had woken up early to do a college project and then went to Anneliese to pick up the boys from the airport. The brunette put her glass on the counter and looked at Anneliese and Kai.

"This was all very fun but I'm getting tired." Rhea says. Anneliese puts her glass over the counter too and looks at the girl.

"You're the one who suggested coming here." Anneliese points out. Rhea shrugs.

"And now I suggest going home." Rhea shrugs. Kai chuckles while Anneliese rolls her eyes.

"We'll take you home. We won't let you go alone so late." Kai says looking at Anneliese. The blonde girl nods. 

"You sure? Don't you guys want to stay a while longer and just spend some time alone?" Rhea asks not wanting to bother them to the point of leaving the bar just to take her home.

"Yes, we're sure. We take you home."

The boy answers. Kai put a note over the bar and with his hand on Anneliese's waist, she starts walking and he goes after her with Rhea at his side. The three of them left the bar and went home. Luckily for Kai, the girls knew what part of town they were in and it was close to their house. After they walk for a few minutes, they stop outside the girls' building. Kai said goodbye to Rhea with a kiss on the cheek and Anneliese wished her good night as she watched her climb the stairs to the apartment. Now alone, Kai turned Anneliese to himself and pulled her by the waist.

"Will you spend the night with me at the hotel?" He poutes by rubbing his nose in the girl's nose, making her giggle.

"Aren't you and Suho sharing a room?" Anneliese asks and Kai presses her lips lightly against hers.

"We are." He shrugs. "But when we were arriving at the bar, Suho texted that he was spending the night at Emma's."

"Is that how you want to spend your first night here?" She asks, he nods.

"I don't think there's a better way."

"Well, you could rest, you had a long day. Aren't you tired?" Anneliese wrapping her arms around Kai's neck.

"I'd rest better with you." Kai answers giving a kiss on Anneliese's cheek.

"I hope the bed is big enough for the both of us."
