The girls' vacation seemed to have ended even faster than last time. They had passed in the twinkling of an eye, but still the girls had had a lot of fun and Rhea had loved everything she did and saw while they were there.

This time it was Suho who took the girls to the airport because Kai had a meeting with some resort directors and could not go. But he managed to say goodbye to the girls and especially Anneliese the night before at dinner.

The girls were just in their last semester of college. More boring than the previous semester, but with more work and tests to do. The girls were loaded with papers to deliver, exams to do, presentations to present, among other things. The upside is that this time, the semester started and was going smoothly. No problems with Mason, for example.

It was Thursday night. Again too early for Emma and too late for Suho. They had been talking for hours, but it wasn't a problem since he wasn't going to work the next day. Emma was sitting at her desk finishing a new assignment for a discipline while Suho was just on the sofa watching a series. Suho had talked to Anneliese. She was going to call Emma and say that for her birthday they were going out to dinner and they had already booked the place so Emma couldn't refuse. But Suho was going to stay hours without talking to Emma about the trip and he couldn't disappear out of nowhere without explaining.

"Oh by the way, I almost forgot." Suho says out of nowhere making Emma pay attention to what he was going to say. "You probably won't be able to contact me tomorrow."

"Why?" Emma asked confused.

"I'm going camping with Kai. It's both our day off and we want to do something different and there's no service. But I'll contact you as soon as I can."

"Oh, okay. Have fun, and be careful. I guess." She replies confused. She didn't even know Suho and Kai used to go camping.

"We will. I'll call you when I can, okay?"

"Of course. Don't worry about it." Emma says. "It's Friday and then weekend, I'll just sleep and ignore my responsibilities."

"Say that again and I'll call Anneliese."

Anneliese was ready to pick up Suho at the airport with Rhea, but it was still a while away so they began to wonder how they were going to talk to Emma. Rhea knew Emma's favourite place, so they decided to start there. Anneliese called the restaurant to make a reservation in Suho's name for Sunday night. The blonde turned to Rhea and signaled to her that at least the restaurant was taken care of, she hung up the call and was now going to call Emma.

"Hey, what's up?" Emma asks as soon as she answers the call. Anneliese had put it on speakerphone for Rhea to hear.

"Just called you to tell you that we're going out for dinner on Sunday." Anneliese says. "I've made the reservation already so be there by 8pm."

"But on Sunday I was coming over to finish a project with Rhea." The girls look at each other. Emma couldn't go to their house. "And you didn't even tell me which restaurant I'm supposed to go to."

"The project can wait." Rhea answers for Anneliese. "We still have a week or so until it's due date. Liz will text you later the details."

She takes the phone out of the blonde's hands and hangs up the call. They both started laughing nervously and looked at the time, Suho's flight was about to land. Anneliese took her house keys and her coat and left with Rhea. She drove to the airport and went to the arrivals. The blonde parked her car in the parking lot and they both left. They walked outside the park and entered the airport seeing several people waiting for relatives and among others.

Fortunately the girls didn't wait long, Rhea had just walked away from Anneliese to go to the café next to them to buy a muffin to eat when Suho showed up with a shoulder bag on his shoulder. He smiled when he saw the blonde with her arms crossed with Rhea next to her eating. He walked towards them and greeted Anneliese with a kiss on the cheek, and waited for Rhea to finish eating.

"Hey, how was the flight?" Anneliese asks as she steps back and they start walking to her car.

"It was good." Suho says but quickly shake his head. "Scratch that, it was hard. I forgot how easy the time passed with Kai. Don't tell him I said that."

"I promise I won't say anything." Annelieses replies, chuckling.

"Did Emma get suspicious about anything?"

"We talked to her before we came here, she got confused but I don't think she suspects anything." Rhea answers, Suho focus on her now. His shoulders relax.

"That actually makes me more calm about this whole situation." He confesses. "At least the surprise is not ruined."

"You could have said something, I had to pretend Kai went camping out of nowhere." Anneliese rolls her eyes taking the car key out of her coat pocket. Suho laughs.

"I'm sorry. It was the only thing that came up into my head."

Not looking like it, but it was hard to avoid Emma over the weekend. Since the girl was no longer going to do the work with Rhea, she had called them to go out, but they both refused.  They even felt bad for ignoring the girl, since Suho couldn't talk to her either because he was supposed to be camping, but in the end it was for a good reason.

Finally it was Sunday, Emma had spent the whole morning in bed and only got up to get cereal. When she arrived in the kitchen she was greeted by a hug and a little kiss from her parents, they wished her a happy birthday and she smiled. Her mother gave her a little white box, the girl grabbed the box as she sat on the chair and opened it, seeing a simple, thin silver bracelet. She thanked her mother with another hug. With her bowl of cereal ready, the girl returned to her room. She was going to spend the afternoon catching up as she only had things arranged with Anneliese and Rhea at night. Both had called her in the afternoon to wish her a happy birthday even if they were going to be with her later.
