The four of them kept talking in the room until Anneliese noticed the time. Anneliese was in her 36th week, and according to the blonde's doctor it was time to start packing the baby bag. As each hospital and maternity is different, the blonde had called the maternity the day before because each institution had its own list.

There are maternity hospitals that provide diapers and hygiene products for babies and mothers and others that do not. It was essential for her to know to avoid going overloaded with things. Anneliese got up from the couch and looked at Emma.

"I need to go pack." Anneliese says. "Emma, can you help me?" The girl looks at her friend and shakes her head.

"Oh, yes." She replies. "Of course."

The girl got up from the couch, letting go of Suho's hand and prepared to follow Anneliese to her room to help her with the baby's bag, but was stopped by Kai who needed to tell her something.

"Wait– Emma, I need to tell you something." He stands up and Emma turns to him, with her eyebrow arched.

"What? What's up?"

"We were supposed to tell you both, but Suho already knows." Kai said, rolling his eyes and looking at Suho, who was still sitting and shrugged. He turned his attention back to the girl. "After talking to Anneliese, we decided we want you to be the baby's godparents."

"What? For real?" Emma asks taken by surprise, but she gets confused. She looks at Suho and then Kai. "Wait, what do you mean Suho already knows?"

"Anneliese told him when Suho went with her to her appointment." Kai reveals to the girl. Emma crosses her arms and looks at Suho again.

"We aren't even married yet and he's already keeping secrets from me." Emma says, Suho gets up from the couch and approaches the girl laughing. He puts his arm around her waist.

"Kai wanted to tell me." Suho says. "But since Anneliese did it first, so we told him to tell you." He places a kiss on the girl's shoulder.

"You're forgiven." Emma chuckles, and turns to Kai and then to Anneliese who was standing behind the girl waiting for Emma to go pack. "Are you guys sure ? You want us to be the godparents?" Kai nods.

"Why shouldn't we be sure?"

"We have a dog we call our child." Emma rolls her eyes chuckling.

"If you take such good care of a dog, then you'll be the perfect godparents for our daughter."

"It's a girl! I knew it!" Emma says cheerful. She noticed that Anneliese only talked about girls' names and rarely boys', which made her suspicious but the couple refused to tell the baby's gender. They start laughing and Emma composes herself. "I'm very grateful for choosing me and Suho to be her godparents. Thank you."

Kai shook his head and hugged Emma, a quick hug before Anneliese pushed her to go pack the baby bag. The girls went into the bedroom and left the boys alone in the living room.

Anneliese took a black shoulder bag. They were gonna start with what they were gonna take for the baby, and then for her. It was important that things be separated from each other. Since the maternity provided hygiene products for the baby and diapers, they didn't have to worry about that part. They put on four complete kits of comfortable, practical clothing, always including an underbody, coat, beanie and socks; two extra bodies, four cloth diapers, two bath towels and two blankets.

The bag was ready, all that was missing was the first outfit kit, but Anneliese never made up her mind until she opted for a seamless set of jacket and full grey knit pants. The shirt had some crochet details and buttons next to the collar to be easier to wear and the pants had an elastic waistband.

Now that the baby's bag was ready and now Anneliese's was missing. The mother's was carrying more things and some were still missing, but then Anneliese would go with Kai to buy. They started by putting on a nursing bra with good support, an open nightgown at the front, a bathrobe, clothes for the day out, personal hygiene products that were a thousand and one things: bath products, hair elastics, deodorant, toothbrush and paste, hair brush, perfume, and a lot of other things as if she was going on holiday and would only come back three months later.

All that was missing were the slippers, the pregnant woman's report card and the examinations made during pregnancy, but since they were still needed they could not go straight to the bag, as well as her ID, the mobile phone and the charger. And the healing ointment for the nipples and protective shells. The only lucky one there would be Kai, all he had to take was his ID, ATM card, food and mobile phone. After they put everything by the baby car seat, the girls lay down on Anneliese's bed talking.

In the living room, Kai had come back from the kitchen with two beers and a bottle opener. He sat on the couch next to Suho and put the bottles on the coffee table. He opened the two beers and passed one to Suho.

"I don't think I ever asked, how did your parents react?" Kai asks, Suho arches his brow, confused. "About the marriage."

"They were surprised but they didn't make a big fuss out of it, thankfully." Suho replies as he takes a sip of his beer.

"I'm surprised." Kai comments. "They never met Emma, did they?" Suho shakes his head.

"No, they just said that if I thought about marrying her, she must be the right woman for me." Suho explains, and smiles. "And they're not wrong."

"Father and Mother Kim always so wise."

"Since we're going back for the wedding, have you talked with your parents? You know... about the baby." Suho asks, a little curious. Kai nods.

"I did. They were happy."

"They were?" Suho is surprised. "I guess they took the news better than I thought. I thought you were going to disinherit you." He chuckles.

"I was surprised too, but they were glad. They just want to be included in her life when she's born. And that's what I'm gonna do." Kai says, placing the bottle on the table. He lets his body fall behind.

"So I assume they want to meet her when you go there for the wedding?" Suho asks. Kai nods, confirming. "I'm really glad, man."

"They're very excited, and thanks for inviting them to the wedding."

"You and your family  always helped me a lot. That's the least I could do." He replies.
