Anneliese ended up coming down the stairs and sitting on a bench by the lockers talking to Kai. After the call, Anneliese returned to the college yard where she sat alone with a piece of ice on her hand that she had gone to the bar to ask for. It was almost noon when she saw Emma and Rhea walking towards her. The blonde got up grabbing her handbag and started walking towards them too. Emma looked at the ice pack and frowned confused.

"What happened?" She asks. Anneliese swallows a dry one and shrugs.

"I punched your ex-boyfriend." She says naturally. Rhea and Anneliese look at each other again for their friend.

"Tell me you're kidding." Emma says.

"I can tell you I'm kidding but my hand tells you the otherwise." She shrugs.

"Dear God, you sat here alone for two hours? You could have texted us." Emma sigs. They start walking outside the college grounds, it was lunchtime and they used to have lunch in a restaurant nearby.

"Don't worry about it, I had company on the phone." Anneliese says chuckling.

"Of course you had. How are the boys?" Emma shakes hear head and smiles. Anneliese shrugs.

"They're okay. Kai's coming to visit."

"Looks like I'm gonna meet the man who calmed the beast that lived inside Anneliese when it came to boys." Rhea comments by getting the girls to focus their attention on her. Anneliese rolls her eyes and Emma laughs.

"He didn't calm me." Anneliese defends herself. "He's just nice. Unlike every other man I've met." Rhea laughs.

"Right. You just assaulted Emma's ex-boyfriend." She says while shaking her head. Anneliese crosses her arms.

"And he deserved it. I'd do it again. Multiple times." Anneliese assures her friends while she opens the restaurant door and they walk to a table.

"Let's not do it again. And we should see a doctor, your hand doesn't look good." Emma says already sitting down and while she removes her coat. Anneliese looks at her hand and shrugs.

"He just doesn't have to test me again and I won't." The blonde girl warns. "It's alright, I probably just punched him a little too hard. I can assure you he looked way worse than my hand right now."

Emma and Rhea looked at each other, rolling their eyes and ignoring what their friend said. After lunch instead of going back to class, they made Anneliese go to the doctor. When they arrived at the health centre, and after having sat for a few minutes in the waiting room looking at the walls and listening to Anneliese frustrated to be there. I'm fine. The girl said several times, but Emma and Rhea ignored. They had finally been called. Emma came in with Anneliese while Rhea stayed in the waiting room. The doctor looked at the girl's hand and sighed deeply. Although it was full of bruises and sore it didn't look serious, but to be sure the doctor sent her to another doctor for an x-ray. After the x-ray, she went back to the doctor's office. Nothing was broken, but it was better to keep her hand still for a while. Before she left the office she were prescribed some painkillers just in case.

After leaving the health centre, Rhea took Anneliese home, who complained all the way because her hand was now wrapped in bandages. While Emma went the other way on her own. She walked home thinking about what Anneliese had said before. Kai was coming to visit her in Denmark and apparently it was already a confirmation but no mention of Suho. Arriving home and greeting her parents, the girl went up to her room and put her backpack down on the floor sitting on the bed. First week of college and was already swamped with assignments.

Lying on her stomach trying to ignore her obligations for a few moments until she gains courage and motivation to start advancing some of the assignments. When she gets up to grab her laptop, her phone starts vibrating on the bed. She sighs deeply and grabs her cell phone seeing who was calling her. Suho.

"Hey, how was your day? Tiring?"  He asks as soon as Emma answers the call.

"Hey, a little. I already have a lot of assignments to do and very little will to start them."  She says leaning against the pillows. "Yours?"

"The usual, nothing much. What happened today with Mason? Kai told me Liz hit him or something?"  His voice conveyed a slight concern. Emma sighs. She went silent.

"Yeah, he ignored everything I told him a while back and when he got to college he kissed me. And Liz was already dying to punch him." She replies.

"He did what?! Who the heck does the think he is?! I'm honestly freaking glad Liz did that because I would've done it myself if I was there!"  Suho asks mad. He went from worried to pretty upset in a matter of seconds.

"I hope he learned his lesson. Liz has two hands." Emma says while playing with her hair.

"And I hope he doesn't do that again or I swear to God."

"Now there's a side I didn't know you had." She points out. Suho chuckles.

"If you stick with me you'll know me like the palm of your hand." Suho replies. Emma smiles.

"I can tell you the same thing."

"I intend to. I can't protect you from here but I'm glad someone's there to do it for me while I can't." He says sighing in the end. Emma's smile fades.

"Well, I wish you were."

"I will."

The two of them kept talking on for several hours, Emma hadn't even heard her parents calling her for dinner and thinking she'd fallen asleep, so they didn't bother to go to her room to check. The girl looked at her computer screen and saw the time and made a quick calculation. It was almost four in the morning in Koh Samui.

"It's almost 4:00 in the morning there, you should go to sleep." She says getting out of bed to turn off the computer. Suho sighs.

"I know, but it's hard to leave you. I also need to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"Kai's going to visit Liz. And I'm going to visit you."  He says. Emma sits on the bed.

"For real? I thought– I thought you weren't coming. Kai didn't say anything to Liz." Emma asks and Suho chuckles because of the surprise in her voice.

"I wanted to save up more money before going but Kai said he was not going without me. And he already bought the tickets. There's no turning back."

"Looks like I have to thank Kai." She says.

"You do. Hope you're ready to show me your country."

"You just got yourself a tourist guide." Emma answers making him giggle.
