Months went by, and Emma and Suho continued to take care of all things for the wedding. They used a graphic design to put their identity in every detail of the stationary and visual identity of the wedding itself, especially the invitations. Emma's mother had taken care of that detail and had gone to order them as quickly as possible to start sending them.
The couple had also thought about the visual identity of the seating plan, the menus, the thank you cards, the cards for the table seats, among others. In the end they had sent everything to Kai, since he was organizing the wedding at the resort and Kai wanted to inform the staff of how they would leave things done. The bride and groom's new concern was another. The best eternal symbol "yes, I do." which was the wedding rings. It had been things that had given almost everyone a headache, but eventually came to a consensus.
It was a wedding against the clock, and since it would be September 22nd, they had their bachelor parties in early August. The bachelor party was a moment of relaxation, full of joy, for the bride and groom to fully enjoy their last days as "free" individuals, before their marital status changed to married. Bachelor parties were usually the godmothers in the case of the bride, or the best man in the case of the groom, or even brothers. But in the case of Emma and Suho, it had been Anneliese and Kai. Both had very different plans and at different points in the Danish capital.
After a pleasant afternoon/evening with friends, Suho and Emma were returning to Koh Samui with Rhea, Anneliese, Kai and Haewon. Emma's parents would go too, but they didn't show up until later. Every day Kai and Rhea would make all the arrangements. Kai wanted the wedding of his friends to be perfect, and since that was in his hands and he had the power to do it. He would do it. He was going to give his best friend a fantastic wedding, with Rhea's help since Anneliese was taking care of Haewon and Emma.
There were four days left before the wedding. It was morning, Kai had already went to Rhea's room to call her to go downstairs and arrange things; Emma and Suho's parents were staying at Kai's resort and every morning they went out to bond. The few times Emma had been with Suho's parents, the couple had loved the girl, even though she always came back to her room anxious and thinking they had hated her.
One thing that confused Anneliese and Emma's mother was Emma's sudden mood swings. Some cramps every once in a while, and a few times morning sickness. Although slightly worried, they didn't pay much attention, believing it was just the nerves she felt about getting married. Anneliese was in her room finishing dressing Haewon, who was swinging on the bed and laughing as the blonde tried to dress her, until someone knocked on the door. She puts the baby more in the middle of the bed, afraid she'll fall to the floor because she's rolling around in bed, and goes to the door. As soon as she opens the door, Emma comes into the room biting her nails. Anneliese looks confused and closes the door.
"Hello?" What's up?" Anneliese walks past the girl and sits on the bed to finish dressing Haewon.
"I know we were supposed to meet after breakfast, but something's wrong and I couldn't wait." Emma says, sitting at the edge of the bed. Anneliese buttoned the last button on Haewon's shirt and leaned forward, giving her a kiss on the cheek which made Haewon giggle.
"What's wrong?" Anneliese asks. "Are you getting second thoughts about the wedding?"
"What? No, No." Emma shakes her head. "It's just– Do you remember the morning cramps and sickness I've been having?" Anneliese arches her brow.
"Yes? Due to your nervousness because of the wedding?"
"I think it's more than that, Liz." Emma says in a lower tone, biting her lip. Anneliese was cross-legged, with Haewon sitting in the middle and playing with her little arms, the blonde looked confused until she realized.
