Chapter Thirty-Three

The plan was to show Rhea the most beautiful places on the island. First they started by visiting the Namuang Waterfall. On the outskirts of the jungle, there are two waterfalls known as Na Muang One and Na Muang Two. The first one flows into a small pool where the girls could swim and enjoy that fresh and clean water. In the second waterfall is about thirty minutes futher uphill and was also just stunning.

The Park featuring the waterfall was completely free of charge and there are lots of beautiful spots along the way as well as small food stalls and souvenirs huts to make purchases from. Since many tourists were going to the beach, the waterfalls made a nice change and an idyllic spot for a swim since they didn't like to be on a beach full of people and children.

After they've dried up and put their clothes back on, and since they were close, they headed to the secret-not-so-secret Buddha Garden. The land is hidden away in the center of the island and surrounded by lush forests. The area was so peaceful and had a stream as well as a waterfall. The journey to the garden was a challenge as the road leading to it is very steep. From the top most point of the garden they could enjoy panoramic views over the island and take in all its splendor and beauty.

Now without really knowing where to go, Anneliese called Kai and asked him to recommend places. First, Kai told them to get in a boat and go diving, but then he remembered how bad an idea that could be since they were alone. The girls eventually decided to take a walk and maybe something interesting would come up.

At lunchtime they entered the first restaurant they found. Again, Anneliese with her precious pasta with shrimp, Rhea ended up choosing the same thing and Emma with her salad. After lunch, they decided to go back to the resort and simply enjoy the view and the fantastic pool of the suites. As soon as they arrived at the resort, Rhea and Emma headed to the suite while Anneliese approached the counter waiting for Kai to appear.

"I see you're back. How was the morning?" Kai says showing up behind the girl by twisting his keys on his index finger, he kisses the girl on the head and goes around the counter sitting in her chair.

"It was great." She nods. "They went to the suite already, we're spending the rest of the day in the pool."

"I was thinking of picking you up at 8, but will Rhea be alone?" He says worried about leaving the girl alone since Emma wouldn't be there either. Anneliese smiles and shakes her head.

"All she needs is room service and a good movie." Anneliese replies.

"I'll stop by at 8:00 then."

And the day passed. It wasn't seven in the afternoon and Emma had already said goodbye to the girls and went to her boyfriend's house leaving Rhea and Anneliese alone. It was half an hour before Kai passed by their room to pick up Anneliese when the girl went to take a shower and get dressed. Unlike Emma, the blonde didn't take three hours to get out of the house. Rhea was already lying in bed picking out the film or series she was going to spend the rest of the night watching and ready to call room service for when she was hungry and lazy to leave her room to go to dinner.

Anneliese was now putting her bag on her shoulder when someone knocked, Rhea walking past the door while playing with her phone, opened the door seeing Kai in a dark blue suit and a 'basic' white gucci sweater. The blonde put her sunglasses inside the respective box and put them in her handbag and walked towards Kai greeting him with a kiss on the lips.

"Is the lady ready to go?" He asks as he enters the room greeting Rhea.

"Guess I am." She replies. "Unless you think I should change."
