Chapter Thirty-Four

It was still a little early when Emma said goodbye to her friends and left, the girl passing by the resort lobby also said goodbye to Kai. She didn't have Suho's house key, so going home and sitting outside the building was out of the question. She walked to the bar, it was not long before he finished his shift, according to what he had said in the morning.

When she got to the bar, she peeked in and there was no sign of Suho. She was surprised, there's no way he left early and didn't tell her anything. Emma leaned against the wooden railing on the porch, by the stairs of the bar that gave direct access to the beach. She sent a message but Suho didn't reply. After a while, Suho appears with his apron on his shoulder, and a tired look. Emma approaches the boy, wrapping his torso in her arms. She looks up and smiles.

"I was going to ask how the day was, but from your face I can tell it was exhausting." Emma says by walking away from Suho and holding his hand. He entwines his fingers in hers and shakes his head.

"A lot of tourists came in today." Suho starts, sighing. "Some girls even drank a little too much they started flirting with me. Had to call them a cab." Emma arched her eyebrow and looked quickly at Suho.

"I don't know if that last part pleased me." Emma confesses.

"That I called them a cab?"

"The other one."

"The flirt? Are you jealous?" He asks chuckling. Emma rolls her eyes and faces the ground.

"Definitely not." Emma replies. "Why do you ask?"

"I felt a hint of jealousy in your voice. Maybe I'm hearing things." Suho says shrugging. Looking at Emma who still seemed bothered. "You know you have nothing to worry about, right?" He asks rhetorically, pulling her to himself, and putting his arm over the girl's shoulders and places a kiss on her forehead. "Anyway, how was your day? Did you have fun?"

"Sorry, sometimes I can't help it." She sighs as she nods. "But yeah, I had a good day."

"Glad that at least one of us had fun."

"Well, the day is not over yet." Emma says with a smile. "And a certain person told me she was all mine when she got home from work."

"You're right." Suho nods. "And I'm sure you're going to enjoy it even more since you're still jealous." He teases the girl.

"Oh really, why's that?" She crosses her arms. "And I'd like to reinforce that I'm not jealous."

"I don't know, I just think it must feel good to know that no matter how many girls flirt with me, you'll always be the one I'll go back to."

Emma relaxed her shoulders and couldn't contain the silly smile, Suho nodded his head laughing and placed another kiss on her forehead before removing his arm from Emma's shoulders to open the door to the building. They went up the stairs and Suho went in front of Emma to open the door. Already at home, the two of them fall on the couch side by side and they both remain silent.

"Should we prepare something for dinner or do you want to order takeout?" Suho asks looking at Emma who was facing the ceiling. "Unless you want to do something first?""

"Let's order takeout, because I'm lazy to go cook and you're tired." Emma replies now focusing on Suho.

"What should we order?"

"We could order pizza or..." Emma pauses and chuckles as she sees Suho curious face. "I could have you instead."

"Which one do you want more?"

The girl smiles as she sits on the boy's lap facing him, Emma presses her lips against his, and Suho grabs the girl on her thighs and presses slightly as the kiss goes on and gets more intense.

Back at the resort, the tension of the dinner conversation hadn't gone a hundred percent yet. Although Anneliese would have to think very carefully about what she was going to do when college was over, her plans had been made at the beginning of college when she was single and almost all the boys were afraid to get close because she swore she was going to punch them; but now she would have to make plans relying on the fact that she had a boyfriend that she really likes and cares about and who lives on the other side of the globe. The plan of getting a job remained, she wouldn't live off Kai, and find a space for herself too... They just had to figure out who would sacrifice everything to be together.

Anneliese was preparing to say good night to Kai and go to her suite when he pulled her by the wrist to his room, he opened the door with the access card and they both entered. She looked around, seeing that at least now he could be tidier than before. The blonde was preparing to comment on that when she felt Kai's lips on hers, she closed her eyes slowly and let herself be guided by him, Kai advanced towards her and Anneliese took steps backwards until she hit her legs on Kai's bed, he took his hands to the girl's waist, giving her a little impulse to lie down. She lies under his body.

"If I knew I'd have to make you mad to be in this position, I would've done it sooner."

Anneliese teases him. Kai rolled his eyes, and nibbled on the girl's chest. She giggled and took her hands to the buttons on his shirt, starting to unbutton his shirt. When she reached the last button, Kai took off his shirt and threw it on the floor.

It was already morning, Kai and Anneliese were up and leaving Kai's room. He had to go to work and she had to get Rhea out of bed to go for another walk to introduce more beautiful places to the girl. Every morning, Suho would stop by the resort to say hello to Kai and today he was going to work later so he didn't have to rush to the bar and could go to the gym. He leaned against the reception counter waiting for Kai until he saw the couple approaching.

"Good morning you too." Suho shake hands with Kai and kiss on Anneliese's face. "I'm glad you're here, I needed to talk to you." He says addressing Anneliese.

"No Emma?" She asks when she notices the girl's absence. "Why do you need to talk to me? What's up?"

"About Emma's birthday."

"What about it?" Anneliese asks.

"I've been putting money aside to get to Denmark that weekend." Suho explains. "I need your help, because I wanted to do something to her but she can't know. In fact, she thinks I won't be back until your graduation."

"That's sweet." Anneliese shakes her head. "I mean, anything that I can help you with, count me in."

"Thank you." Suho smiles. "She had said she hated surprises, but I'll ignore that and do it anyway." He shrugs. Anneliese chuckles.

"Yeah, she does. If it was anyone else, she'd hate it. But since it's you, you might get something more than a kiss. Definitely."
