One good thing about Anantara Lawana Resort is that it had things for those who like to take their holidays calmly and for those who like it with a jolt of adrenaline. And that's how Emma and Anneliese worked.

The two girls ended up sleeping the rest of the day due to the fatigue of the trip, only managing to wake up in time to go to dinner and return to their room to continue sleeping. However, it was a new day and they were not going to waste their vacation sleeping. The plan would be to mix the day with both. Something calm, something full of adrenaline. Both inside and outside the resort.

Emma dressed her flowery red balconette top bikini matching the rising waist bottom while Anneliese picked a V-plunge one-piece. On top, the blonde wore denim shorts and a simple black shirt and Emma a super thin pastel yellow dress.

Arriving at the pool, the girls spotted two free sun loungers side by side. They stepped forward and Anneliese put her bag and towel on top of it, stretching and looking around while Emma stretched her towel over the sun lounger and sat down.

"This is heaven on earth." Anneliese comments to her friend as she now focuses her gaze on the towel and starts stretching it over the chair. Emma nodded.

"Don't forget to put on sunscreen." Emma says. Taking off the dress and folding to put in the bag. Anneliese frowned.

"I did before we left the room." Anneliese answers confused. As soon as the girl realized that Emma was referring to the fact that she was super pale and was definitely going to get a tan, she rolled her eyes and threw her shirt in her face.

"Come on, hurry up." Emma says amid laughter, getting up from her chair while she waits for Anneliese to set her things straight.

"I'm going, I'm going."

As soon as Anneliese set things up, she grabs Emma's arm and pulls her towards the pool. The blonde crouched down, put her hand in the water and got up again.

"Look there." Anneliese pointed. Emma looks where her friend points and gets confused.

"What?"

Emma looks away from her friend and as soon as she realizes it, she's falling into the pool. The young woman closes her eyes as soon as she goes to the bottom and comes back up, passing her hands in her hair to pull it back and rubbing her eyes. The girl opens her eyes and looks at Anneliese who was outside the pool laughing.

Emma gently swimmed up to the curved edge of the pool and look out to a horizon of blue skies and clear seas. It was such a beautiful view. She turned back, watching Anneliese swim happily and called out to her with a hand gesture. Anneliese approached Emma and looked at the view.

"Mason's an idiot, but at least he suggested a nice place." Anneliese says. Emma rolled her eyes.

After a morning by the pool, they got dressed again and decided to go look for a nice restaurant nearby. They decided to go to a restaurant on the beach, with a warm and pleasant look. As soon as they talked to the girl at the reception, she guided the two friends to a table outside the restaurant.

They looked around, seeing several tourists sitting at their tables, eating and talking. Anneliese follows the girl to a table next to a palm tree with a sun hat on top, and Emma as soon as she puts her cell phone in her pocket after finishing a call with her parents, she approaches Anneliese.

The two of them sit face to face and look at the menu that a waiter brought them after a few minutes. They saw all the options, and everything looked good. Emma ended up ordering Kai Med Ma Muang, it looked like a Chinese dish, but it wasn't. Obviously. It's a chicken and cashew dish, composed of sweet soy sauce, mushrooms and carrots; and Anneliese went for Pad Thai. Noodles mixed in a hot wok with soy sprouts, shrimp and onion. The blonde's choice was the fastest and most obvious, as she had been talking about pasta and shrimp for days.

"What's going on? You've been checking your phone every five minutes." Anneliese asks while she takes a bite of her food and looks at Emma.

"Huh? Oh, nothing." Emma says. Taking her phone off the table and saving it in her purse. "Just worried about Mason."

"Why?" Anneliese rolls her eyes. "He needs a babysitter?"

"He hasn't been answering my messages."

"He's probably distracted, or asleep, now stop checking that phone or I'll throw it to the turtles." Anneliese says. Emma chuckles and focus on her food.

The two of them paid for their lunch and got up to leave. As they were passing to the inside of the restaurant to go out the front door, two men appeared at the same time. One in a striped blue shirt and some denim jeans and the other in a white shirt and some formal black pants. Almost bumping into each other.

"Hey, you two are the tourists that arrived yesterday, right?" The guy with the white shirt says, remembering the girls in front of him.

"Hey, and you are the reception guy." Emma says making Anneliese and the guy behind him laugh.

"Right, but I prefer Kai." He replies, with a smile. Stretching out his hand to greet them. They shake his hand.

"We also prefer Anneliese and Emma." Anneliese says.

"Since my friend wasn't kind enough to introduce me, I'm Suho." The boy in the striped shirt says, rolling his eyes at his friend. The girls laugh.

"Nice to meet you." Emma smiles, and stretches out her hand to greet the boy.

"How are you girls liking it here so far?" Kai asks, after rolling his eyes to Suho.

"It's all so beautiful, and the people are super nice. Loving it so far." Anneliese replies for both of them. Kai smiles.

"Good. If you ever need any tourist guides, we're always around." He offers himself and his friend to show the two girls some places on the island.

"Aren't you busy at the resort reception?" She asks.

"I can make it work."

"Okay, thank you reception guy. I mean, Kai." Anneliese teases, chuckling. Kai nodded his head.

"You're welcome, tourist. I mean, Anneliese?"

"Fair enough. I deserved that one." She says, shaking her head and pointing her index finger. "Well, I suppose you'd like to have lunch. We don't hold you anymore."

"I'd want to say that you're not but we're on our lunch break. Maybe we'll see you two later?" Kai says.

"Well, you work at the resort where we're staying. So yes, maybe we'll see each other later." Emma replies, shrugging.

The girls smile at the boys and follow their way out of the restaurant and the boys head for their table. Emma takes out the pamphlet that Anneliese was reading the night before and starts reading other activities they could do for the rest of the afternoon.
