Chapter Five

After warning the boys, Anneliese went back to their room where she found Emma in her pajamas. A gray T-shirt some black shorts. Hugged to a pillow. The blonde took off her shoes and lay down next to her friend, hugging her.

Eventually they both fell asleep until the next day they woke up with Anneliese's phone ringing. The girl groans and rolls on the bed until she can touch the bedside table and grab the phone. She picked it up seeing the name 'Kai' on the screen and answered the call.

"Why did you have to call so early in the morning? What time is it even?" Anneliese asks as soon as she answers the call. Kai laughs on the other side of the line.

"It's 9:00 in the morning." Kai replies. "Suho and I are going out. We were thinking about water sports and we thought it would be a good idea for you guys to come and cheer up Emma." Anneliese rolled her eyes.

"You're so annoying cause that's actually a really good idea." She says.

"It's a settled then. Get ready and go have breakfast. We'll meet you in the lobby in an hour." Kai say and hang up the call.

Anneliese puts her phone down on the table again and gets out of bed, starting to choose the clothes she was going to wear. The girl opens the curtains making the sun come through the room, Emma grumbles and pulls the sheets over her head. The blonde pulls the sheets and pinches the girl lightly.

"I know you don't want to get up but I got the day planned and our ride is picking us up in an hour." Anneliese says, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"What ride?" Emma asks,  by pulling a pillow over her face.

"Suho and Kai. Now let's get up and get dressed, come on." The girl gets up and starts taking off her pajamas, to put on the clothes she has chosen. Emma sighs and gets out of bed.

The girl went to the bathroom, caught her hair in a ponytail. The girl's hair was long and black, but painted blue below, every time she picked it up, the colour could be seen. It was an alternative to having to dye all the hair. When she came out of the bathroom, she saw Anneliese already dressed. She was wearing a pair of tight shorts with a black shirt with little white balls and a straight neckline. To which she added two necklaces and a watch.

Emma sighed and sat by her bag, looking at her clothes. The girl stood up and dressed some shorts and black crop top. With a black belt, because she didn't know how to wear clothes without belts. Anneliese was surprised how for the first time her friend didn't take half a year to get dressed.

Ready to go out for breakfast, Emma grabs her black backpack and goes down to the saloon to have breakfast. Doing the same routine as always, the girls went to choose what to eat. Emma took a bowl, with strawberries, banana and raspberries, a croissant and the typical orange juice. While Anneliese grabbed a bowl of banana, kiwi, grapes and mango only.

They were finishing eating when Anneliese looked at her wristwatch. Five minutes till the boys arrive. They hurried to finish eating, and they headed for the lobby.

It was 10 o'clock in the morning when Suho and Kai appeared side by side. Both in shorts and a basic t-shirt. They greeted the girls who were admired for their punctuality.

"You two set to go?" Suho asks. The girls nod.

"We are. But can I at least know where we're going?" Emma asks the boys. Suho chuckles, and shrugs.

"It's a surprise."

Emma pouted. Not quite the answer she was expecting. Anneliese pulls her friend by the wrist and they walk behind the boy to Kai's car. A black bmw. Suho sat in the front, next to his friend and the girls in the back seat. He drove to Bophut. Where they stopped at a place called Blue Stars Kayaking.

They got out of the car and went into the establishment. Where they took a pamphlet that said what that place had to offer. Basically the four of them would enjoy the Angthong Marine Park's stunning scenery and make three stops along the way. Emma looked at them and sighed. Suho put down the flyer.

"We need to divide in two for it. Who gets who? Suho says, looking at them. They look at each other.

"Emma." Anneliese answers.

"Have you two ever done this?" Kai intervenes, crossing his arms. Anneliese shakes her head.

"No. Not really." She says.

"Then for safety reasons I think you two should be with one of us instead. We've done this before." Suho says. Emma frowned.

"What can go wrong?" Emma asks sincerely.

"We don't want you two to flip it over because of the waves. Since you guys have no experience I feel like you two will do that in the first two seconds inside of it."Suho explains, making Kai chuckle while he shakes her head. Anneliese rolls her eyes.

"I'm offended, but fine. I choose Kai." Anneliese says.

"Of course you do." Kai says. She rolls her eyes.

Kai with Anneliese and Emma with Suho. They went to a member of the staff to warn them that they would do it, the man smiled and went with them to the beach, where the other tourists were. He gave them four life jackets to wear.

With their jackets on, the pairs went to the kayaks that the man destined for them. The kayaks are between the sand and the water. All the tourists, in pairs, sat with their paddles in their hands and the staff members pushed the boats into the water. Kai and Suho were in the back seat while the girls were in the front.

The first stop was the remarkable and serene nothern area of the Park. Koh Thai Plao was an awesome kayaking destination with striking scenery, caves and large rock overhands. It was also the best location in the Park for snorkeling and swimming. They also had lunch there, buffet lunch. After that, they headed to Koh Mae Ko, where they did a relatively short but steep climb to view the spectacular Green Lagoon and also for the neighboring islands.

In the end, they went to the large island of Koh Wua Talap. There they had to choose between kayak again, climb to the viewpoint, or simply relax on the beach. The staff members said the climb was only for those with moderate to high fitness levels and Anneliese and Emma are both lazy. So it wasn't an option. They decided to keep doing kayak.

In the middle of the activity, Annelise and Kai began to confuse themselves with the paddle and it was making the boat shake all over. They started having a brief discussion. Next thing they knew, the kayak had flipped upside down. Suho and Emma passed near their friends who were now in the water and started laughing. Kai rolled his eyes and swam to his friends, shaking their kayak. 

"I'll hit you with the paddle if you flip the kayak, Kai." Suho threatened his friend.

"I got nothing to lose." He shrugs. With Anneliese's help, Kai flipped his friends' kayak.

The two fell into the water, Suho as soon as he got into the water and stayed under the kayak, swam to the side grabbing Emma by the wrist and pulling her. They came back up. Suho now grabbing Emma by the waist.

"Hey, you all right?" Suho asks. She nods.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Thank you." She replies with a soft smile. Suho smiled back, but vanished as soon as he saw Kai. The man was ready to kill his best friend.

"Let's push this all the way back up to land, but far away from those two." He says looking at Kai and Anneliese who looked offended, but soon they started laughing.

"Is it safe to leave her with him?" Emma asks, chuckling. Suho shrugs.

"I think they're good for each other. I doubt they'll kill each other."

"You don't know her like I do." She says. Suho looks at the girl concerned.

"Should I worry about her or both?"

"Both."

Suho chuckle. He takes his hand from Emma's waist and puts both in the kayak starting to push while swimming, Emma joins him to help him and next to them Kai and Anneliese do the same. When the four of them reach the sand, they come out of the water. Emma was trying to take off her life jacket, but she couldn't. The girl approaches Suho pouting.

"Can you help me with this?" Emma asks. Suho turns around, facing her and nods.
