To the place where i can barely forget

"Crazy and fret?" Yujin then smiled and closed her notebook that was filled with some old photos of her and nako. Its been 5 years since their contract ended.. After that, they never see each other again.. Yujin opened the window and wondered.
"I was just in the tender age of 14 when i first entered the world of entertainment.. The only thing i want back then is to be popular.."
Then she stared at the closet where the picture frame of her and Nako was standing silently.
"I was a simpleminded child back then.. Not until.."
She then grabs the photo and hugged it while staring at the stars.
"I wonder.. is she looking at the same direction? looking at the same stars? thinking the same thought? Having me crossed her mind? i want to know"
She tightened her grip to their old photo while her tears subtlety flow.
"I'm dying to know.. "
A silhouette of Nako suddenly formed in her room, smiling at her.. the same old smile that makes her fall in love with her so badly..
"Yu-chan" it said then it disappeared. Yujin went back to her bed then cried. "I miss you, but i cannot do anything about it.. How are you? Are you doing good? Are you still eating the same kind of food? i want to know.. I am so dying to know.."
Her phone suddenly rings.
"Hello?" she answered in monotone.
"Hey Yujin! it's me Wonyoung!"
"Oh, hey wonyoung." Yujin said in monotone, wanting to hang up the phone.
"You seemed pretty down today. Want to hang out with me?" Wonyoung asked.
"I'm not in the mood you know."
"Geez, you'll be fine. Trust me. Well i'll see you tomorrow.. Same place, 10:00 AM, 'kay?"
"Fine. just do whatever you want" Then hanged up and lied to her bed. "Yeah right, it was also been 4 years since the last time i am with wonyoung and she just lives nearby.. and i never even paid her a visit. Well, perhaps she's busy with her life now.." She said then wiped her tears. "Perhaps i should spend a little time with her tomorrow and talk about stuff.. I want to smile and be cheerful but Nako~chi wasn't around.. What was i saying? i'm already an adult, i should not be thinking about such childish stuff.." she looked down. "Its been years and she hasn't sent a message nor texted. She never even bother to say goodbye or talk to me after that. She didn't care about me anymore.. Perhaps i should just forget her.."
She slaps herself and hid the frame that has been standing on the closet for years.
"I will forget nako, i would never set my thoughts about her anymore!"
Then her demeanor suddenly changed and puts the frame back where it was standing.
"I'll be seeing wonyoung tomorrow!" She said then tried to sleep. "But if i sleep, i'll just see nako~chi. I'll be seeing her again.."
She then rolled over. "Ehh. Nako~ chi let me be at peace.Let me sleep for a while.. Let me have a dream without you on the picture. Please."
She jumped through the window and walked outside.
She missed Nako but Nako's absence isnt the thing that is loading her chest.. There's something more than opening her closet of secrets..
"Yujin?"
"Oh hey, Eunbi" Yujin greeted. "It was kind of surprise to see our old leader nim walking around in curfew hours."
"I'll be turning 30 just so you know." Eunbi said then she gave her a drink. "And i just happened to be here because our project was destined in this place." then she takes a sip. Eunbi, after their contract pursued an artistry at Dongkuk University and graduated last year. Now she's working as an actress and has made a name of her own, in the name of acting and music. Eunbi's relevance grew bigger compare to her days as an Iz*One member.
Yena and Yuri confessed to each other and dated after that. They will be married in Europe soon and she (Yujin) was chosen as the "Maid of Honor"
Chaewon quits on being an idol. After their contract ended, Chaewon continued studying and started to live a normal life. She is now a teacher at a random public soul somewhere at seoul. She and Hitomi who is a nurse at the same place somewhere here in korea are still bestfriends and was often seen together. Yujin once asked them about Nako but they had no idea about where is she or what is she doing after that. Hyeowon and Minju build a music school for the upcoming and aspiring idols
Chayeon became a professional dance choreographer under YG where she first auditioned and currently judging MNet's P48.
Sakura endevoured a gaming business trade and she have found success to that.
Wonyoung preceeded to her studies at Hanyang University and was probably hanging out with Chaewon and Hitomi during their day off. She's already at the last year of her college and will be bidding farewell on her alma mater soon.
While she, after the contract never did anything. She just continued her studies through homeschool and graduated months before their contract ended. She dropped out of college and helped her family on their family business trade.
A lot of things has changed..
"By the way, how are you?" Their former mother figure asked. "Still punching those keyboards while recording stocks." She replied. "Look at me" Eunbi requested. "Please."
Yujin looked at their former leader-nim's eyes. "There's tear flowing from your eyes. Tell me, did you just cry a moment ago?" She asked.
Yujin cannot lie nor make excuses, this woman in the front of her has known her eversince she was blooming and undergoing puberty. so telling a lie wouldn't work against her.
Yujin didn't say a word. She dont want her old mother figure to know that she just cried a moments ago because she missed someone..
Eunbi seemed to understand what those tears was trying to manifest, a tears of feeling lost, a tears of missing someone, a tears of trying to grasp itself on someone whom he cannot see or touch everyday.. a tears of longing over someone.. Eunbi smiled then hugged her. "You missed her?" she asked.
Yujin just nodded while wrapping herself in her "mother's" embrace. "And you feel like you cannot do everything to deal with it? am i right?"
"Eunbi, how can you tell everything just by looking?"
"Because i'm your mother. that's why i can tell if you're okay or not.. looking at you.. You have been hiding, not wanting to be seen but wanted to be noticed at the same time.."
Yujin's tears flows rapidly.
"Yujin, i know of what you have been through trying to find your path of righteousness while locking yourself.  I want you to know that you are beautiful.. Just the way you are and nothing cannot change that.. Not even the loads that you have been trying to keep and weigh for years."
"Mom.. I love her.. eversinve but i cannot tell if she can reciprocate these feelings or not.. And i still hasn't come out yet. Unlike Yena and Yuri who is open and happy for how their life turns out for them. I just cant tell her mom, i just cant tell the world.. About who i really am inside those flamboyant dress and Candy personality.. the girl behind this idol whom everyone was looking up to. And i cannot just tell her about how i feel. She  is a sweet girl blessed with pure heart and kind soul.. and i.. i'm just.."
Eunbi massaged her former colleague's back. "There there.. Don't cry." Then wiped her tears."Open yourself, flap your wings and show your true colors. What matters to me is your happy, you're free." Eunbi said.
Yujin fell asleep on her potrayal mother's shoulders. "Guess what she needs now is" then massaged her face "Someone who will give her guidance while still finding herself. I want us all to be here, for her. But the person she needs isnt present. Now i want to know too, lately i have been thinking about Nako. About how is she, what is she doing.." Then smiled and stared at the sky where stars are gazing. she suddenly remembered Nako's eyes who radiates the same light and energy. "That girl has been through a lot too, i hope she's okay."
