Happy Birthday

"Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday to You!"
All of them sing in unison.
"Goodmorning girls!" JY greeted. "What are you up to? It's kind of soothing to hear your voices early in the morning so i want to know "What's up?"
"The ceiling, ofcourse" Hitomi replied in monotone. Momo stops herself from bursting with laughter.
JY awkwardly smiled as Sakura pinches her "Hii-chan, he's the highest here, pay respect"
"But he's asking us "What's up?"
Mina pinches the other side of Hii-chan's cheeks. "You're being to sarcastic, you know?"
"You guys just want to massacre my cheeks"
JY saw Nako and Sana playing guitar and humming while marking her notebook.
"How about you girls?" He asked.
"We're trying to compose a song" Sana said. "It all started during our performance last week.. Us and ITZY--"
"Goodmorning!!!!" ITZY who just arrived said in unison. "Nice seeing you here Mr. JY" Ryujin said then proceeds.
"We just thought of making a song with them.." Nako continued as she keeps on playing her guitar and writing down the lyrics then gave it to him. "Here sir, Have a review. The title of that song is "Happy Birthday". We thought about that song while thinking about working with ITZY after their catchy performance.. *looks down and fidgeted her fingers* It wasn't much but--"
"It's a pretty neat song, the lyrics were good and i like how you rhymed it. But how do you sing it? Have you ever composed a tune for this?"
"Me and Sana unnie are still working on it"
Ryujin grabbed the paper from JY and reads it.
"Mind if we help?" Ryujin suggested
"Sure" Nako replied. "I might need some" then smiles.
"Unnie stop pinching me.."
Jihyo and Jeongyeon suddenly arrives with food alongside with the twice members "Goodmorning hardworking people! Breakfast is here!" Nayeon greeted as she prepared all the breakfast that they brought for them.
"Eh? ITZY is here too. You should have told us that you're gonna drop by--"
"Nah, we're good" Yeji said.
Sakura holds Yeji's shoulders while pinching her cheeks "Nahh, it wasn't nice to reject Jihyo-unnie's offer." Then looks at jeongyeon "Right unnie?"
"Well there's still more you know"
"So how's the progress? We really want to sing that song too you know." Chaeyoung said.
"Nako finished it already but there's still some lines that she needs to be fixed in order to match up the tune. And we're currently working on that." Sana said. Nako got her eyes stuck again on Jihyo.
"Dude, is she always like that? Like drooling?" Ryujin asked.
Sakura pinches Nako who subtlety got hypnotized by Jihyo's beauty and kindness. "Nako-chi, snap out of it!"
Nako's conciousness went back. "What? What's going on?"
*facepalmed*
"Well it seems that you girls are up to something good. Kindly let me know if you need anything, okay?"
Then he went out.
"Well now that Mr. JY is gone, let us take our breakfast first" Jihyo said. "Skipping the most important meal is a bad manner you know" then winks.
Nako gasps and her nose bleeds but Sakura wipes them.
"Gross" Ryujin said then sits down with them and eat.
"Jihyo-unnie sure is a good and caring person, neh?" Yuna said while taking her food.
"Well, she's been a mother to us since our trainee days. I can't imagine twice without her" Jeongyeon said "It's minus one or zero you know"
Jihyo cackles "Stop embarassing me guys"
"But its true" Mina said. "I thought about you a lot when i became the leader of this unit" then looks at Sakura. "Thinking how i would handle them the way you do. Even if it was just a temporary group" then stares at Jihyo.
"She's right unnie!" Yeji added up. "You were my role model. I want to be a good leader just like you! I admire the way you handle things, weigh every responsible and  face every challenge and obstacles. You're one of a kind!"
Jihyo simply smiled while finding the right words to say.
The other members were just smiling while looking at Jihyo with full of love and appreciation.
"Well" then looks at everyone "You see guys, i was a little moved and touched when you said those humble things to me. It was kind of flattering to know that you're all looking up to me. I never thought that my simple acts could bring that much of an impact" then she puts down her playe and spoon while stopping her tears from falling "But.. you.."
"Unnie.."
all of them hugged Jihyo and wiped her tears as Mina massages her back to calm her down.
Jihyo laughs. "Sorry guys. I was just happy" then she sniffs and smiled. "What i want to say is, you all have your own style. You all have your own way of doing things. For example, Yeji who can be cute but mean sometimes and Mina who can be very strict when it comes to Time Management, or can be dork but cares too much like Sakura. You can ask your co-members how they think about you, and their answer lies in their eyes--" she suddenly stopped as she saw everyone looking at her with full of genuine love and appreciation.
"Just like that" then smiled with contentment. "Let's finish our food so that you can all work. Let us know if you guys need anything, okay?"
After they ate their breakfast, 6 of the twice members left and they all start working.
*sighs* "Dang. It's so hard to compose a song about happy birthdays. What do people .. normal peoppe usually do during their birthdays?" Ryujin asked while scratching her head and thinking of a lyric to put.
"Well" Lia said while adding up some lyrics "What do we usually do during birthdays? As an adult? Like for example, what do you want to do in your birthday?"
"Am i too old for cakes?" Chaeryeong naively asked.
"Awe" all of them said in unison as they cuddles her and pinches her cheeks.
"Well" Then sakura thinks deeply "What about beers? Like drinking beers since we're all legal!"
"Ahem" Yuna said.
"Oh sorry. I forgot that you're only 16"
"I don't drink beer either" Lia said. "Maybe party food is enough? And gathering of friends.."
"Okay, so let us just write for those birthday celebrants.. Like Yeji of course, Dahyun, Onda and EU of Everglow.." Mina suggested. "Let us all add some messages to Nako's composition which is about having fun at first like think of some messages that you want to give them"
"As expected from our leader-nim, not running out of ideas" Sakura complimented.
"Hmm.. it's EU-nnie's birthday" hitomi then looks up.
"And Onda-unnie's" Nako said.
"Well let us all just work" Sana suggested.
"Hey" momo said then pokes Hitomi "You're at it?" She whispered.
"What?" Hitomi replied in a whisper tone.
"Let's--"
"Momo, Hyi-jjang, whatever you guys are planning to do, kindly skip it for a minute" then glares at her "And finish what we're doing first are we clear?"
"Scary!" All of them said in unison.
After a minute of composing, Nako finally stram her guitar and hums.
Everyone suddenly stops.
"Ettou.." then she puts down her guitar. "Am i disturbing you guys?" she asked.
"No.." Chaeryeong said "We're just trying to fit our lyrics to the tune that you're making"
"And the right timing" Sana said then smiles. "Just keep playing, okay?"
Everyone starts tapping their foot as they bang their heads with Nako's stramming.
"Who's going to share their ideas first?" Sakura asked.
"Let me" then chaeryeong looks around "Uhmm... is it okay?" Then looks down while fidgeting her fingers.
"Chaeryeong unnie is always naive and shy!" Hitomi said.
"Come on chae, you can nail it!" Yeji said. "Chaeryeong! Chaeryeong!" All of them cheered. Chaeryeong smiled
"Okay then! *ahem*"
"Yo small dude!" Ryujin called Nako "Stram it harder because our chae's about to slay the lines"
"You got it!"
"I'll do my job too!" Then Sana grabs her mixtape and starts making sounds beats.
