Practice II

"Our tune's finally complete!" Yena said.
Jihyo was still stramming her guitar while Nayeon is playing her piano. "I think we're almost done. Nayeon-unnie, is the tape still going?"
Nayeon just thumbs up.
"This will be the last piece and.." then she gave her final tap. "Done."
Nayeon stops the player and walks. Then they saw the JoYuriz.
"Hey!" Jihyo approached. "You guys done?" She asked.
"Yep." Chaewon approached then smiled. They was about to submit their cassett player on TTS's room when they heard someone cried.
"YOU CALL THAT A TUNE? WE'RE GOING TO REJECT THAT!"
The six of them stopped. and sits on the  bench. "Are they scolding Lia?" Jihyo asked.
Chaewon suddenly grinned. "I didn't know that they're strict, really.."
"It wasn't easy to impress them. They're legends after all.."
Inside..
"Taeyon, calm down.." Seohyeon said as she's trying to stop Taeyon from what she's going to say after.
"I can't make a good tune... sorry mam." Lia said then was about to walk out but Tiffany blocks her way.
"And where do you think you're going?"
"Backing out. This was just an author's play game so why make it serious. And i cant really compose nor invent. I wasn't that gifted. I am also a bad dancer, the only thing that i can do is to sing.. and i can't even make it perfect." Then she bitterly smiled. "I wasn't needed to be here. I'll be going--"
*knock knock*
Lia mindlessly opened the door and walks. "Do your best guys." She said in monotone then continued walking outside. Seohyeon comes after her.
"Lia, can we please talk for a moment?" The leader asked.
The two trios were just watching them.
Seohyeon looks at Tiffany and Taeyon for a moment. "Let me handle this."
Then runs to Lia and talked.
"M-Mam" Yena said, stuttering while shaking. "T-this is ours."  She said as she tries to hand them their cassette *gulps*
Jihyo puts herself together and submist theirs to Taeyon. "This is ours mam."
Then both of the parties walks.
"I think you're being too hard on Lia." Tiffany said.
"We all are." Taeyon defended. "Well you're the meanest you know. The girl seems to be vulnerable of such comments. But i kind of think that she is a good performer."
"She wouldn't be their group's main vocalist for nothing you know. But why so hard on her? Its not that you're trying to help her manifest her innerself.. something's fishy about it."
Taeyon just stared at the window. "She somehow.. well.. i don't know why i'm pretty hard on her, perhaps because i get a little pressured and amazed because of how good she was. She has a perfect vocal control and her voice.. She still looks singing even if she's just talking." Then she looks up. "I somehow was mesmerized by the simple tune she make. For such a young girl who was just new to this kind of dirty business."
Tiffany smiled. "and being hard on her won't help her to grow as a performer that she aspires to be you know."
"Yeah right."
Meanwhile..
Nako was playing all the tune that they were suggesting while writing it on paper.
"Does that sounds good already?" Onda asked.
Nako just smiled.
"It still needs a little sting." She said.
Wendy was just watching them.
"They seemed pretty experienced when it comes to this line. I wonder how Seulgi and her brats are doing."

Ryujin and the rest were practicing their choreos.
Seulgi suddenly interferes and stares at them.
"Hitomi, you're overdancing!" Seulgi said. "And your movements are getting tense! Is that the kind of dance moves that aspires to be the greatest center?" She asked.
Hitomi's sweat drops off as she walks by and stares at the mirror.
Seulgi offered her a hanky. "Control. That's what you're lack off." Then smiled as she pats Hitomi's shoulders. "Calm down, okay? This isn't a race. There's plenty of time for everything and don't put too much power on your choreos."
"Is she going to be okay?" Ryujin whispered.
"I can tell that she is." Chaeryeong replied. Sakura and EU were staring at her.
"Do you think she's going to be alright?" EU asked "I know that she will." Sakura said then grinned. "Hii-chan, calm down."
"Right from the start!"
Hitomi silently walks in her old direction and proceeds on practicing.

"Lia, are you okay?" Seohyein asked.
Lia didn't answer. "Sorry about Taeyon. You know, she was born without a zip on her mouth." She joked.
Lia was looking down while singing.
"Lia.."
Both of them stops.
"Can you sing again? Using that tune you composed."
"But--"
"Come on." Seohyeon said then smiled. "Its only us. And i like how you compose your tune based on your vocals. I can tell that there's much more than that." Then she massages Lia's back. "Please?"
Lia breathes out.

"That wasn't your full voice. You're hiding it."
"That was mam, trust me."
"It was way different from what i saw."
"What do you mean?"
"Let's just say that.. " then stares at Lia. "You are our personal choice."
"I.." scratches her head. "I don't get it."
"The author told us a week ago about the upcoming collaboration. Author planned that it was just us, the JihYeonz and JoYuriz but me and the girls still wants another member to sing with us. So author suggested a lot of vocalist from this generation, that includes you. Then we watched all some of your best vocals/covers then we happened to saw your version of "Let It Go". We were mesmerized by your voice,  You were so young that time, Me and the girls asked the author about you, in which girlgroup do you belong and stuff. So we watched some of your videos and we were all amazed, especially Taeyon."
Lia just chuckled. "Like i was going to believe that."
"Really, she thinks that your voice is awesome. Especially when you covered that "God of Dawn" and darn it, you sound so good!"
"That's.." then simply smiled. "That's too much of a compliment mam.. But i am not that good.. i think ITZY would be better off without me." Then looks down. "I'm not a good dancer, i cant do singing and dancing at the same time."
"Do you think that would save everyone? Don't you ever say that lia. Don't you ever feel bad or be hard to yourself." Then holds Lia's shoulders. "You are such an amazing vocalist. One of the best... I can barely imagine ITZY without your vocals." Then smiled.
Lia breathes out again then smiled.
"Let's go back. They're probably waiting for us."

Wendy's having a vocal lesson to her three students as Seulgi's watching her members to dance and rap at the same time, Taeyon and Tiffany checking the Cassettes while Seohyeon alongside with lia are heading back.
