"Yabuki-senpai, the food here is good!" Yabuki just smiled.
"Nako, can we have a short moment with you?" Eunbi asked.
"Satoshi, Takkeru, can you leave me for a moment?"
The two boys just nodded to each other the left. Nako sits with them again and stared at them. "U-uhmm.. excuse me but this feels weird.." Nako said.
"Nako, who are those two?" Hitomi asked. "Schoolmates. from Georgetown University" Nako replied. "We're at the same department tho i am five years senior to them."
"Georgetown? you mean you're studying at US? but i thought you were studying at Japan?" Sakura asked. "I moved because i have received a scholarship from them."
"Are you really Nako-chan? are you really our Nako-chan?" Yujin asked. "Nako~chan is always cheerful.. She's.." Then her tears flowed.
Nako moved her eye direction to Hitomi. "Guess you really never returned to japan, neh Hi-chan?" She asked.
"Well.." Hitomi just said. She was having a hard time talking with her since she wasn't used on her being like this.
"By the way how are you guys? I never heard anything about you guys." then look at Wonyoung. "You're so grown up now. How are you doing?"
"G-graduating already.." Wonyoung said. "Why do i feel like its so awkward to talk to Nako~chi? She doesnt even sound like the old nako~chi.. She became a less interesting person who just binged books."
"Graduating. Wow, we're the same." Then smiled. "I'll be graduating this june too."
"How come she didnt know anything about us? Or she just didn't care?" Chayeon thought.
"Nako~chi, you look so cute with those glasses." Chaewon complimented. For somehow, Chaewon managed to initiate a normal conversation with her. "Thank you Chaewon. How are you? You didnt have that killer looks of yours anymore, what happened?"
"Tell me, do i look old?" Chaewon asked.
"No, but you aged. Same to you Hitomi. We all aged.."
"But you still look cute tho." Chaewon said then pinched her cheeks. "Even tho your cheeks isnt as cheeky as it was before."
Hitomi awkwardly smiled. "Y-yeah, and you become a little thinner."
"Well its because of the pressures at school. And i didn't like the american dishes. My tongue isn't used to it. But i just noticed that Hi-chan isn't a shy girl anymore."
"So what degree are you taking?" Eunbi asked then smiled. "If chaewon can manage to have a good conversation with her then perhaps i could to.. Even if the Nako that we all once used to know isnt a part of her anymore."
"Mass Communication."
"Wow, so you'll be broadcasting on TV? We can finally see you on TV!!" Sakura said.
"But as a TV personnel.. not as an Idol.." Minju added.
"So Nako~chi do you want to attend our wedding. Me and Yuri are engaged now yoi know." Then she showed her ring with excitement. "Look. i always waited for this moment to tell you! It was a very long story you know!!"
"That's a pretty exquisite ring you have." Nako said. Yena became upset and pissed off to Nako's reaction. Yuri noticed it but she even dared to talk to nako for a change of demeanor. "But y-you can come right? t-to our wedding.. it will be at Virgin Island.." Then smiled.
"If i have time maybe.."

Yuri thought. Yena was so upset that she suddenly burst into tears and walked away.
"Y-yena chan." Nako stands up and was about to follow her but Yuri stopped her. "I'll handle this."
Everyone just stared at Nako in disbelief. "She's not even happy about them being married? Does she even really care? Where's the old Nako?" Sakura thought.
"Hmp. So does that school changes you?" Yujin suddenly asked.
"Does that school changes the Nako that we all used to love and know.." Then she faced her with eyes being drenched in tears. "What happened to you back there.. We are so worried! We are always thinking about you!! We never heard anything from you! Do you even know that!?"
"Y-yujin.."
"Calm down, Yujin" Chaewon said.
"Nako, tell us. What happened.. and why are you here by the way?" Eunbi asked.
"Well, because of the conferrence and i was asked to proxy an instructor." Then she stared at her reflection on the Tea and smiled bitterly.. "I have to throw my Idol personality away in order to achieve the life that i really wanted.."
"But what you want is to make people happy, right?" Eunbi asked.
"Eunbi-nee, tell me. Am i a disappointment? People everywhere thinks that i am. First of all, for not being fitted to a girlgroup, second for throwing my life as an idol in order to study. I can tell, the way you look at me.. talk to me.. You are not happy in how my life turns out." then she bitterly smiled. "Perhaps i am very befitting to be a disappointment."
"It's not that Nako. " Eunbi said. "We are not disappointed for your decision, we are happy for that." Then she smiled just to stop her tears. "To think that.. someone from iz*One can make it through Georgetown University. . a very popular school.. to think that.."
Chaewon and Hitomi just comforted their former leader. "To think that you took a Mass Communication.. and will be graduated soon.. You have no idea how proud we are for that. To think that someone from the Iz*One will be marching off from Georgetown this year.. You never failed to surprise us.. You're always making us happy.. in every.."
Her tears suddenly fall down, Sakura and the others starts crying too. Nako was just looking down. "Little thing you do.. you keep on making us .. proud.."
Nako still didn't say a word. "I.. am so happy.. to see you.. to hear a little information about you.. We are all happy.. we cannot express it.. because.. because.. you yourself.. you changed.."
"Because my life as an idol is over. Those cutesy acts won't work anymore.. and we're growing old. We are not going to be people pleaser forever, right?"
Everyone was surprised on Nako's reply.
"Cutesy? Did she even understand? Is she still looking at the mirror?" Hyewon thought.
"I'm sorry to say this but it seems that you still don't understand it nako" Hyewon said then she wiped her tears.
"Or perhaps that's how you perceive things now" Sakura said. "So.. you did those things because you have to? So you're telling us that the Nako we once knew and loved was fake?" Minjuo asked. "This isn't about being cute. Its about us, being together! The Nako who cried, The nako who's always cheering people, the nako who's always smiling and jolly! the bravo nako! what happened to her? Was it all just for an act? Tell us." Sakura cried then slammed. "TELL ME!? Aren't you happy to see us! Do you still even care?!"
"Sakura~chi, stop.. you're scaring nako~chi" Wonyoung said.
Nako smiled. "Sakura-nee chan, Hyewon-nee, Minju- chan, I want to say that i am still the old Nako~chi you know. But some part of me has to go away.."
"But why? Because you don't want us to be in your life anymore?" Yunin asked.
Nako just smiled. "After our contract ended, i really don't know what to do. No agency wants to accept me.. It was all over for me, it seems that my life is over.. I went back to japan and continued being an AKB000 but it never felt the same anymore.. Perhaps it's because.. Eunbi-nee isnt here and the others isn't here.. I ended up being depressed and confused. I garnered a lot of hate again.. Then an Agency from Korea called me.."
"Nako-chan.."
"I went back to korea and auditioned. I passed then i decided to pay you all a visit.. but i just feel like, i wasnt needed in everyone's lives anymore. I got tired of singing, dancing and doing the same thing.. But the management keeps on choking me.. My mother.. fell into illness and was bed ridden and i wasn't there for her.. The management won't let me.."
Chaewon and Hitomi starts hugging her and cried. "And when i returned to Japan.." Tears suddenly flow from Nako's eyes rapidly but she still managed to speak. "She's dead. I wasn't there for her during her final days.. I have a dream that she keeps on calling me in my name.. Saying how proud she was.. Mama always wants me to live a normal life.. For me to study.. She was never happy about me being an idol... But i loved her more than anything else in this world.. and i am the worse! for not being able to stay!" She removed her glasses and wiped her tears. Everyone starts crying and feeling guilty. "That's why i quit Akb and decided not to be an idol anymore. Then an idea suddemly came that if i study then it would least the burden and guilt.. I studied hard, day by day. At first, things never turned out good. People only thinks that i am just getting a good grades because i am a former idol, the thought about mama dying without me by her side is haunting me. Then all of the money that i saved was now gone. I ended up in poverty. So i have to work at McDonalds to support my financial problems. I get to eat one meal everyday." Then she looks at them. "I excelled at class, i get a higher grades, i was kind of happy even if everyone still hates me.. But things suddemly changed when.. i received a letter from Georgetown, asking me to be one of their scholarship grantee. No one knows me as Nako Yabuki of Akb or Iz*One and i am happy because they have accepted me just the way i am but i lose interest.. on coping up anymore. I feel like all i have to do is to study and reciprocate the kindness and all the things that the university has provided me. As you can see, i get used on living my life like this.. just studying, barely coping and socializing, being stuck on books, praying and talking to my mama everynight. She's proud of me!" Then smiled. "But it would be different if.. If she's here.. Yes.. i am trying to create an ambition far from what they know, from the person that they used to know... I became used of being alone, and i never even thought about meeting you guys again. I was kind of surprised when i can still remember your names and faces.. one by one.." Then Nako puts her glasses back and looks away. "I was alone in the hardest days of my life, I faced everything alone. The pain of my mother's loss still weighs here.. But in the other hand, I'm happy. When eunbi-nee manifest her thoughts about it. I am happy that for somehow, someone whom i used to know, whom i once friends with has the good thoughts. Eunbi-nee, If mama was still alive, i can imagine her say the same things.. Okaa-chan" then smiled.
The atmosphere was suddenly devoured by silence after Knowing what their old friend has been through.
"For all these times..." Eunbi thought then cried.
All of them hugged her and starts sounding to be cheeful even if they're crying.
"That's our nako~chi, she's strong!" Chayeon cried while wiping her tears.
"Sorry for not being there during the hard times of your life. I just feel like--"
"Its okay.. I am getting used to it. Don't worry."
"Nako~chan (i) we want to be there for you." Yujin said. "I want to be alone with you and talked about everything. could you please tell me?"
"Guys you're embarassing me.." Nako said.
"Ehh? Our Nako knows how to be embarassed?" Eunbi said then removed her glass and pinched her. "You're trying to act all grown up but you're still the old nako~chi. Kawaii" Chaewon said.
"Iii, you guys are embarassing.." then blushed. "Nako-chi was still cute and adorable" Yujin said while pinching her nose.
"Chaewon, Hitomi, Everyone, formation! We'll do an Orenji Ceremony for the comeback of our old friend." Eunbi said.
Yuri and Yena arrived on the scene. "Hey!" Eunbi called. "You two you're right on time, Get in the line already and we were about to do an Orenji ceremony!"
Yena and Yuri smiled then joined them.
"Orenji, Orenji Orenji" Chaewon said while forming a circle then passed it on Hitomi. "Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji" then passed it to Eunbi. "Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji" the passed it to Minju "Orenji,Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji" then passed it to sakura "Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji" Then passed it to Hyewon. "Orenji.."
They all just do that weird Orenji ceremony.
Nako facepalmed.. "This is totally embarassing"
"Nako~chan, your turn!"
"H-ha? Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji, Orenji.." Then nako threw the invisible huge orange that she created outside.
"Yay!" All of then cheered up.
"That was dumb you guys.."
"But you like it.." Yena said while tickling Nako. "She likes it, She likes it." They teased together.
"I-i didn't!" Then blushed.
