Chapter 11 - What is Love?

The time was 6:55 AM, the sun was rising, and it's beam of light reached a window, shining down on David's face and waking him up early. David rubs his eyes and he felt sore in his face and upper body muscles. His left cheek felt the most sore, especially since that's where he was punched the hardest. David sits up and sees that Legosi is still laying on the floor next to the bed. Considering he's awake now, David pets Legosi and wakes him up gently as he says

"Hey, Legosi. Wakey wakey." David stops petting as soon as Legosi rubs his eyes and sits up

"Ugh... morning, already?" David chuckles at Legosi's tired face and says

"Yeah. You slept surprisingly well, despite being on the floor." Legosi looks up at David after his eyes feel less tired

"Actually, it was a little rough. Sure, the towel helped, but I had a pre occupied mind." David raises his eyebrow in curiosity

"Oh? What's on your mind?" Legosi stares at David with a stiff look and then hastily darts his direction to the right as he says

"Er, wolf stuff." David didn't feel like his question was answered, but he didn't want to bother Legosi about it. Just as they were both walking out the infirmary, David said to Legosi

"Hey, is it ok if we meet later? I'm pretty sure I have to go apologize to Louis about last night." Legosi nods in understanding and replies

"Yeah, he told me that once you were able, meet him at the front entrance of the theater. He seemed annoyed when he told me." David lets out a sigh and rests his hands on his hips

"I can imagine why." David waves Legosi goodbye as he says "I'll see you later, Lego!" David jogs off to the theater, leaving Legosi surprised, he thought to himself

"Did he just call me 'Lego'?" Legosi spaced off for a moment, but his concentration was broken when he felt his tail wagging, he went to his dorm afterward. Meanwhile, David makes it to the front of the theater where he finds Bill and Louis waiting. David didn't know why this had to be early in the morning, but he wasn't one to complain. As soon as he stood next to Bill, he said

"Gentlemen. I'm guessing we all know what we're here for?" Louis sighed and Bill rubbed the back of his head. David noticed Bill had a black eye, but felt too guilty to bring it up. After Louis was done rubbing his nose, he said

"You know why you're both here." David and Bill nodded and Louis continued "Then you know why I'm upset." Louis looked at Bill "Bill, I don't care about the rabbit blood you drank you said you drank earlier, but what I'm upset about is..." Louis raised his voice to show he was very upset "You spilled blood on the stage like a bunch of reckless, senseless monsters! You really thought it was necessary to fight just to determine who Adler should be?! You almost sabotaged the entire performance!" Louis then lowered his voice so he wouldn't lose his temper "Your incivility surpasses reason... this is an order from the leader of the actor team. You are both indefinitely suspended." Bill looks behind Louis, there's something there, but doesn't doesn't look as Louis continued "I don't want any excuses. I don't want to see either of you at practice tomorrow." Bill then whispered to Louis to try and get his attention

"L-Louis..." David then looked behind Louis and saw a crowd of people walking towards him and the others, but Louis ignores it as David grows a worried expression and he says

"Normally, I would've had the two of you kicked out, but-" Bill then gently grabbed Louis by his shoulder and said

"Louis, uh, behind you." The crowd was actually a group of fan girls and they all were excited to talk to the three men. The girls called out to the three of them and called them cool for yesterday's performance. Even though Louis didn't look behind, but he was worried about the circumstance he was put in. His expression shifted to serious as he grabbed David and Bill by their collars and whispered
