Hate to love

Chapter 5

  "Cut!"

Dad yelled as Matt Brewer, my co star leaned in to lift me up.

" I don't feel the love" He complained.

I sat up, groaning.

We had done this shoot more than thirty times.

No exaggeration.

A call came in for dad just then. Matt helped me up.

"Your dad has been in an extremely grumpy mood all day."

He shook his black hair away from his gray eyes.

"Wanna go for a movie later?" I asked.

He shrugged.

"I don't know, depends, who else is coming." I smirked.

"Kylie"

I could literally see his face turn red.
"Really? Don't be joking."

I shrugged and walked away.

 "I don't believe you."

I picked up my phone and called my best friend.

"Hey girl, you still up for the movie later?"

I made sure the phone was on speaker so Matt could clearly hear every word she said.

"Most definitely."

We chatted some more before I ended the call and turned to Matt. He smiled at me and nodded so I knew he was going.

Dad came in just then.

 "Hey, sorry kids but the shoot has been postponed till further notice, I have a meeting right now."

He hurried out the door and slammed it shut.

"So what are we gonna do now?" Matt asked and I sat down.

"Let's plan how we are gonna tell Kylz that you like her. That you've liked her for a very long time now."

He punched me lightly. "Shut up. Thanks for not telling her."

I punched him back and pulled him up. "Come on, let's go"

Matt drove us to the cinema where I knew Kylie would be.

He started drumming his fingers nervously on the wheel.

"Chill. Its not a date, I just asked you to hang out with us."

He rolled his eyes as the car pulled up in front of the cinema.

We bounced out, pulling up our hoodies and dark shades.

We went in and I saw Kylie standing in our usual spot, her head bowed and her hoodie up.

Only her necklace gave her away.

 Matt and I went over to her.

"Kylz" I exclaimed and she hugged me.

"Hey girl, come on, we are almost late for the movie."

She turned then and noticed Matt.

"Hey"  was all she said and he waved back.

She raised her eyebrow at me in silent enquiry.

"I asked him to hang with us, he was bored."

She nodded and we went to get our tickets and drinks.

"You guys  want popcorn?" Matt asked and we declined but immediately we went into the hall Kylie opened her back to reveal all forms of chocolate.
