Savannah's POV

My alarm blared loudly.

I stood up and walked to the bathroom.

I'd hardly had any sleep because I had been so worried.

I hadn't seen Devon for a long time.

He wasn't even picking my calls.

What if something had happened to him?

I was really scared and I missed him a lot.

Things just felt weird without him.

After taking a shower I dressed in my underwear and put on a bathrobe.

A knock on my door sounded and I called out.

"Come in."

Lee and Debby stepped in.

"You need to get ready Savannah. You don't want to make a bad impression. Do you?"

I managed a small grin.

"No I don't want to make a bad impression."

I sat down and Lee laid out her weapons.

She attacked my face and hair.

I sat down, texting Kylie and Parker.

"Don't forget to smile when you're there."

I raised my eyebrow.

"I'm a model. I know how to fake a smile."

Debby gave me a small smile.

"You've grown so much Savannah. You're no longer the scared little five year old. You're now the brave young woman you are."

Her smile became shaky and her eyes became watery.

"You won't need me anymore soon."

Oh Debby.

For the first time in a while, I saw the bubbly teenager who had helped me.

I would never not need her.

"I'll never not need you Debz. You're my manager. I need you."

She smiled. "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

After the primping by Lee, I dressed in black rugged fitted jeans and blue combat boots.

I finished the look with a white flowery crop top and jewelry.

"You look good."

"I always do." I teased

Ceejay was in a really good mood so he offered to drive Debby and I before he headed to his photoshoot.

"You know what you're supposed to do right?" Debby asked.

I nodded and smiled at her.

We stopped at the TV recording station and got down.

The host, Alexa Moon came out and hugged me.

"You know what to do right?" She asked and I smiled and nodded.

"Okay. I'll meet you on the stage."

She walked away and I heard her start talking.

Debby smiled at me.

"You nervous?" I shrugged.

"This isn't my first or even hundredth TV appearance."

"You know you're a stuck up show off. Right?"
