Savannah POV

Lee was killing me.

She tugged and twisted my hair until it was piled up into elaborate curls.

She splattered and slapped my face with her make up kit.

I stared in the mirror.

My eyes had been done up to have a smoky look.

My lips where a darker red and glossy.

I slipped into my dress which was white with a fitted bodice.

It hugged my hips, showing off my curvy figure.

The slit ran from the top of my knee down to the ground. I looked at the mirror.

"You look amazing" I heard and I turned to see my best friend Kylie Lucienne Greene.

Kylie was a ballerina. She had blonde hair and pretty milk chocolate eyes. She hugged me tightly.

"You look amazing too" I said and she twirled, showing off her puffy red gown.

"Cmon let's head over to the limo" she suggested, taking my hand and dragging me to the car with her.

The car drew to a halt and the chauffeur opened the door.

Kylie and I stepped out and the flash of cameras was blinding.

I beamed brightly turning my head and striking various poses.

Ceejay's limo had arrived before ours and he headed over and took my hand in his.

Kylie had brought her dance partner, Jake as her own date.

We marched on the red carpet.

"You look beautiful" Ceejay whispered and I laughed.

"And you need a girlfriend." He rolled his eyebrow and we entered the huge ballroom.

Ceejay raised his perfectly plucked eyebrow up.

"She sure knows how to throw a party. I'll give her that." I laughed at his obvious excitement that he was trying so hard to hide.

"Go have fun kiddo" I teased and he rolled his eyes at me again. He kissed my hand dramatically

"enchante mademoiselle " he teased before heading out.

I loved my brother.

Kylie came over and we headed over to the punch fountain.

Kylie grabbed two glasses and we filled them and started drinking.

"So how was your photoshoot today" Kylie asked and I shrugged.

"It was okay. At least it went well."

Kylie raised her eyebrows and I just shrugged.

I didn't need to tell her that it was exhausting.

I didn't need to explain that I loved my job but sometimes just needed to feel normal.

She knew.

She always just knew.

"I'm having a performance at the theatre tomorrow." I rolled my eyes at her.

"I know that, nitwit"

She glanced at me, then shook her head.

"You sure you're gonna make it"

"I'll never miss your show Kylie. You know that"

She smiled at me and we continued drinking punch and just chatting until Jake called her to the dance floor.

I knew Ceejay would be looking for me so I made my getaway as quickly as fast as I could.

I hated ballroom dancing.

It was exhausting.

I stepped outside and was greeted by the cool air.

I went out to the gardens.

There was a marble bench with a fountain in the middle.

The spray of water was relaxing. I sat down in the cool night air and wished I was home, on my bed.

"Just great, I haven't even started my history report and I'm to turn it in tomorrow.

Can this day get any worse"

"Talking to yourself is weird" a cool melodic voice said and I turned around suddenly.

If only I knew that turn would turn my world around.
