Savannah's POV
I lay down on my couch, trying hard to practice my lines.
I had the best day of my life today.
We had gone to the treehouse which was squeaky clean and had even been redecorated.
I was so happy that Devon had done that for me.
My sanctuary was back and better than before.
It was our place now.
Its really hard to practice hating someone when your heart was practically bursting with love.
What I was feeling for him was slowly leaving like.
And I didn't want to fall if I wasn't hundred percent sure it wouldn't hurt.
Sean came out of the kitchen with a slice of cake.
Devon hates cakes, and there was no way I could finish all, so I brought the two home.
"You know, this cake is delicious."
"when are you going back home exactly?"
He shrugged, munching the cake.
I rolled my eyes and turned to the empty wall I had been using to practice.
Taking a deep breathe, I went into character.
"I really don't like him. He feels the whole world population of girls belong to him. And its very irritating because -"
"This is all kinds of weird."
I smiled sweetly at him.
"Sean, you're signing your death wish."
"That's no way to talk to your teacher."
"What's the worse you can do?" I teased.
He lunged but I'd been expecting it.
Grabbing it, I stepped behind him and pressed him down.
He shook himself away and looked at me with interest.
"If you could, you'll be an asset instead of a burden." He murmured to himself.
"A burden? To who?"
He grinned
"Hey, have you ever heard of aikido?"
I regarded him with curious eyes as he gave me a predatory smile.
Three hours later
I feel like I've been broken down and built up again.
I was extremely exhausted.
Too tired to move.
The doorbell rang.
"Sean someone is at the door!!!!" I screamed.
"You're closer to the door!" He yelled back.
Pixie ran to the door, barking excitedly.
"That's not my problem."
I heard his groan and grinned as he went over to the door, rolling his eyes at me as he got there.
"Oh. Savannah. Ceejay and Jasmine are back."
I have never run that fast in my whole life.
I ran past Ceejay and straight into Jasmine's arms.
