Savannah's POV

The limousine parked and Zachary got down and helped me out.

The paparazzi where blinding me seriously.

However he seemed to be enjoying it seriously.

I hated this guy.

He took my hand and I tried not to shudder in disgust.

I was rocking a teal coloured dress.

It was short and and off shoulder. The bodice was fitted with a strapped back. It had a knicker inside.

My gun was strapped to the the knicker.

I'd pulled my hair into a tight ponytail.

And Lee had done my make up so I looked beautiful.

I was a nominee for the Peoples choice awards and although I wanted to win, it hurt me that Devon wasn't here.

"Hey, do you want a drink babe?" He whispered in my ear.

I nodded and smiled at him.

He grinned back and left.

Devon would have known this smile was fake.

I went to my seat, the flash of cameras almost making me stumble.

"Savannah, can you hear me?" I heard Leo's voice from the earrings I was wearing which where actually speakers.

And my necklace was a microphone.

Turns out Devon had threatened Zachary and Kylie had come to him to join her gang.

So all that drama during the picnic was just that.

Drama.

Motherfucker......

Turns out, Zachary was our best source to know exactly where their base was.

To know how to plan them.

"Is Devon there?"

"No. He isn't. I haven't seen him since."

"Is he still mad at me?" I asked.

"He never was. He was just kind of hurt that you didn't believe him. He's eventually gonna open up to you again. I promise."

I felt tears pricking but I just had to blink them back.

"I really screwed up."

"He's gonna let it go. You had every right to wanna stay away from the killer."

"But it wasn't him."

"I know."

"So bae." Pretending to stroke my hair back, I turned off the speakers, leaving only the microphone.

The awards show began.

The host was Spiritman, a Nigerian comedian that had really upped the charts.

Zachary's annoying laughter filled my ears.

"I hate -" He looked at me in shock.

"The fact that I was avoiding you for so long." I quickly amended.

He smiled and hugged me close to himself.

"I love you Savannah. I really do. I don't want any other girl but you."

Sure bae.

He sloppily kissed my cheek.

I secretly wiped it away.
