Unknown POV
I checked the pictures and couldn't stop the predatory smile that played on my lips.
"You've done a wonderful job. This information is priceless." I chuckled, congratulating my spy.
"So now what's the next step."
"We wait."
"Then what?"
"We strike."
Savannah's POV
I woke up after a very restful night.
This was the best sleep I'd had in two weeks.
When I woke up, my first thought was that it was all a dream but the kangaroo that took up half my bed space made me realize how real it was.
I took a shower and dressed into my black long sleeved crop top and a pair of white dungarees.
Tying on my pink sneakers, and my pink hairband, I grabbed my backpack and rushed downstairs with Pixie hot on my heels.
Mum and dad where already at the table.
I slid into my seat.
"You guys excited for your big break?" I asked.
"Yes." Dad said.
"Three months of just us, no kids, no work, no problems. Just chilling together. A chance to disappear from the public's eye."
"Okay dad, I like having just Savvy so please take pills. Okay?" Ceejay said, sliding into his seat.
"Shut the hell up." I yelled, seeing mum was blushing hard.
"Ceejay, I'm not in the mood for a grandchild right at the moment so please use pills with Jasmine." Dad retorted.
I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe.
Ceejay's face.
Priceless.
He was a burning red.
"Point for dad." I cheered, raising my hand for a high five.
"Ceejay take care of Savannah - who am I kidding, Savannah please take care of the two dogs and see to it that they don't destroy the house." Dad said, a teasing glint in his eyes.
"But she has just Pixie."
We waited for him to understand.
"Da hell? Dad, I'm not a dog." He yelled.
"Did I say any thing?" Dad said innocently.
"I'm responsible."
"And I'm a monkey's mother." Mum retorted.
"On second thought mum, he is responsible." I said.
"Oo, good one." Dad said, giving me a high five.
"What the actual fuck. I'm not a monkey." He yelled.
"Wow. You're just full of false accusations today." I feigned hurt.
He widened his eyes in mock confusion.
"Savannah really?"
I laughed and he joined in.
"We are gonna miss you both a lot." He said as they headed out.
"You need a ride to school?" Ceejay asked.
"If I said yes would you give me a ride?" I asked.
"Nope."
I rolled my eyes.
