Chapter 37

Devon's POV

I was sitting down, trying to work on the three way stuff.

I couldn't seem to figure it out.

Was it like a passage way?

Knocking sounds broke into my thoughts.

It wasn't coming from outside.

There was knocking and again.

I stood up and walked around the room, trying to find out the source of the noise.

Then I felt thumping on my feet.

Pushing my table and chairs back, I saw a trap door.

Opening the door and I saw a familiar face look straight at me.

Savannah was staring at me.

She  smiled at me.

"Hi." She said quietly.

I grabbed her and pulled her up.

Looking down, I saw Pixie and Jazz downstairs.

"Tie the rope around the dog." I ordered and we pulled the dog up.

Then untying the rope, we helped Jasmine up.

"Okay. Now that you're all safely here. Where the fuck did you come from?" I asked in shock.

She shrugged. "Its a long story."

Jasmine took Pixie and headed out, we could here Fang's excited howling and yelping.

"Are you okay?" I asked her, she looked rather sad.

"Just found out my brother is a gangster. And he had been lying to me for this long."

I told Ceejay she would react more if she found out by herself.

"Its just sad that he could lie to me for this long. It hurt me."

I could hear her sniffling and I stroked her hair.

"He was just trying to protect you."

"I know but its hard not to feel betrayed." She said.

I stroked her cheek and she leaned into my touch.

I wanted to say more, do me but the door opened and Leo walked in, Karen and Jasmine behind him.

"Devon they figured it out."

Savannah's POV

I was both confused and mad at Leo for disrupting us.

"What do you mean?" Devon asked.

"Have you asked Savannah how she got here?"

Devon looked at me and raised his eyebrow.

"How did you end up under my house?"

I took a deep breathe and explained everything, from the beginning to the end.

"That means there's some sort of connection between the dragon, snake and Phoenix." Leo said.

I raised my eyebrow at him "no shit Sherlock, what was your first clue?"

He glared at me.

"My dad is the said founder of the Phoenix and your dad is the founder if the dragons." Devon said.

"My dad is a gang leader?" I'm going to faint from all these information.

They all nodded.

Even Jasmine knew.
