Savannah's POV

You trust people too much. That's both your weakness and your strength.

His words echoed in my ears all day.

Zachary had told me that before, but I didn't really care because it was the asshole who had said it.

But now, Devon had said it.

And even though he hadn't used it as an insult, he had still made it seem like a warning.

Especially after that incident.

I didn't tell Devon but I was thrown into the elevator.

And the door was locked.

It was a man's hands.

It was rather rough.

My wrists had been bruised.

Ceejay almost had a heart attack when he heard the news.

Long story short, my new body guard is named Sean.

I walked downstairs and met up with Jasmine on my way.

We where both still in our pyjamas.

"Hey girl." I said.

She  smiled and stumbled into the kitchen, fixing herself coffee.

This girl was an addict.

I laughed as she chugged down the glass and her face immediately lit up.

She smiled at me.

The transformation was almost comical.

"Hey." She said, bubbly and smiling.

"How are you doing?" I asked her.

She laughed.

"I'm supposed to ask you that. You where the one that almost got hurt yesterday."

I shrugged. "The past is that."

"Why do you think Kylie left?" She asked suddenly.

I shrugged.

"I have no idea."

"Why don't you want to find out?"

I slumped as I sipped my glass of orange juice.

"Because I'm scared of the reason."

She looked up at me.

"Your best friend in forever, just left you when you where almost about to die. I know for a fact that if it was me, she'll be six feet under by now." She snarled.

"You are violent." She laughed.

"I get that a lot."  She commented.

"Well, I'm not surprised. Have you started packing for your trip?"

Ceejay had told her about the party.

She had speared me to the couch, attacking me with tickles for tricking her.

Then she had hugged me, thanking me for helping her out.

I really liked Jazzy.

She was a good person.

"Hey, can you come with me to Kylie's house?" I asked.

She raised her eyebrow.

"You need some mental support?" She asked and I nodded.

Kylie seemed like a stranger to me suddenly.

I wondered what was up with her.

I was scared to find out.
