Savannah's POV

I struggled against my chains. The boat was sinking.

Kylie had made a small hole at the edge of the boat so it was rapidly filling up.

I didn't want to die like this.

I wasn't planning on dying like this.

The boat was already halfway underwater.

I could swim but with this chains tied to the boat, I couldn't move.

The boat was sinking deeper.

The boat was completely submerged.

The water stopped at my neck.

I couldn't breathe.

I was suffocating.

I closed my eyes as I was pulled underwater.

Memories passed my eyes.

"Sanjay, wait for me." Ajay yelled and I laughed and raced ahead.

I hit someone and I fell down.

"Ouch." We both moaned.

Ajay ran over and helped me up.

Then we helped him pick his packets.

Icy blue eyes stared at me.

I couldn't see his hair because he was dressed in a red sweater and a black beanie that covered his hair.

"I'm so sorry."

He didn't answer me but he took his stuff from me and stuffed them his pocket.

"I'm sorry. Don't be mad."

He turned and looked at me.

"Its okay. I should have watched where I was going."

"I'm Ajay." Ajay said, and stretched her hand to shake.

"Dante." He said.

He had a strong accent.

It was kinda cute.

"This is my sister. Sanjay."

I rolled my eyes at her.

"Sanjay and Ajay. Cute. But I have to go."

"Why? Let's buy you ice cream to say sorry for bumping into you and ruining your stuff."

"That's really sweet. But I have to go home. My mum would be worried."

"Come on. Please?" I begged and he stared at me.

"Fine. Let's go."

We walked to buy ice cream and sat down on the park.

Ajay had been pestering poor Dante with so many questions.

He was really neat.

Towards sunset, Dante began to panic.

"I have to go, mum would freak if she didn't see me. Bye guys. Thank you."

He turned and ran

Ajay had waved him bye but I was too busy blushing.
