"I'm sorry," All Might whispered by your side as you stared at the picture of you brother that sat in a black frame. "It was my fault..."

You swallow harshly as you wipe your tears away, "Come on, All Might... you know that it isn't your fault."

The space goes empty once again as you attempt to unravel what this means. For years you had been trying to get your brother to rekindle his relationship with his old partner, but it seemed that you failed to get it to happen.

"You don't have to call me–"

"I do..." you interrupt as you look at him. "We aren't friendly anymore, so I can't... I can't call you that anymore."

"I'm sorry..."

"You're not though," you wheeze as your fingers pull at your hair in your building frustration. The smile that you felt was once tattooed on his face was withered and gone, there was only guilt and sorrow right now. "I tried for years to get the two of you to talk again, I tried for years to get you to come and talk with me!"

"I didn't want to give you hope in having me and Sir on friendly terms again..."

"It wasn't even that! I messaged you about a date All Might, like some stupid idiot little girl I was! I've been in love... I was in love with you for years! For years! And I get that you needed to play hero and leave my brother who wanted you to take care of yourself, but why did that have to include avoiding me?! And now that my brother is dead – you want to what exactly? Tell me?! Because right now it just sounds like a bunch of bullshit."

You had to ignore the deep wounds of hurt that flashed across his face as he looked away.

"I... can see you're going through a lot of emotional pain right now, um... maybe we can meet up later? When you're feeling better?"

"No," you sniff as you wipe your tear stained cheeks. "I don't think I want to forgive you."

And with that you left the room with not just a broken heart, but a shattered soul.
