"Wanna go for a walk?"

Your eyes looked up from your homework up to your boyfriend who was grinning down at you, his hand raised for you to take it.

"Well, I haven't started at all because I waste time like nothing, so yes. I would like to go on a walk with you," you state standing up and brushing off your sweats as you held onto Mirio's hand and dragged him away before he could begin to try and persuade you to finish your homework.

The cool air of the spring evening was nice as you walked at your pace as Mirio easily kept up with you.

Conversation was light between the two of you. Your discussions mindless and full of rambling as the two of you joyously walked around campus.

"I have a question for you," Mirio asked as his hand squeezed yours tightly.

"Hmm, okay, I'm ready. Shoot."

"Do you believe in soulmates?"

Your head tilted as you took in his words, your lips drawn into a pout as your tapped your chin with your free hand. "I guess it depends, I feel like people are meant to meet and grow together, but does that make them soulmates... why?"

He shrugged as a small yet vibrant smile remained on his face, "Nothing, I think you might be my soulmate, that's all."

Your eyes widened at his words, your jaw dropping as you shook your head. Your hand retreated from his as your cheeks burned with embarrassment.

"Why'd you let go of my hand?" Mirio asks, his eyes widening as panic sets in his skin. "Did I say something wrong?! If that was too much I'm so sorry! I obviously wasn't thinking!"

A tearful smile spreads on your face as you slam your forehead against his chest, "You're an idiot, that's all... but I would love you to be my soulmate."

Nothing else was said as Mirio wrapped his arms around you to keep you close in a hug. "Good thing we agree there."
