You didn't enjoy going out all that much, people were confusing, and often scary with their loud actions. You were shy, almost to the point of having some sort of social anxiety. You also hated loud, scary noises, and living near the city means being surrounded by them. So it sort of surprised everyone when you announced you had a boyfriend. A pretty loud, jumpy boyfriend.
Iida Tenya was an angel in your life. Someone who came to your apartment door one night! In your attempt to going indoors after buying some groceries. You had dropped your receipt. He had declared it was something of value because it had your card information, so he sought you out to return it to you. He had taken a liking to you, and within a month, you two were dating.
"Y/l/n-chan, I have returned!" You hear Iida's voice booming from the entryway. You smile as Iida slipped off his coat and shoes in a very orderly fashion before walking over. His steps sharp and clean, as if he has trained in such a fashion.
"Welcome home," You meekly smile as he presses a kiss to your forehead. "Dinner's almost ready, it needs two minutes more!"
"That's delightful," Iida smiles as he sits down next to you, his eyes glancing at the Fitbit on your wrist. "How many steps did you get to today?" He asks.
You freeze. You had been a bit lazy today.
"I dunno." You say, moving the Fitbit from his line of vision. But Iida dives after it, the two of you wrestling for a while as he tries to get the band into his hands. As his fingers go to tickle you, you cave letting him see what you had managed to get to today.
"Only three thousand steps?!" Iida gasps as he pulls away, his head shaking in disapproval, "Go walk! You must reach ten thousand steps so that you can remain healthy, happy, and alive!"
"But I'm so tired!" You moan as you dodge a few flying arms from your boyfriend. You scream as Iida picks you up and walks over to the treadmill. Iida had bought you a treadmill as a gift when he found out you took less than two thousand steps a day. Something super unacceptable in his opinion.
"I won't leave you alone until you double your steps!" Iida states, raising an eyebrow at you, and you groan as you start up the machine much to Iida's delight.
So there you were two minutes before dinner running as fast as you could. All to increase your steps so that your dumb, super concerned, loving, handsome boyfriend would leave you alone.
"Yes, y/l/n-chan, you got this!" Iida proclaimed as he sat down at the kitchen table, a plate of food in front of him. Iida continued to watch you cry at the treadmill, but he never touched his plate. It took you twelve minutes, but you finished.
Your face was disgustingly red, sweaty, and you were starving. As you approached the table where Iida had already prepared you a plate, your stomach growled. The plate was still warm. "I hate you..." You mumble as you feel too weak to even use the chopsticks in front of you. "I'm going to die before eating, and this is the worst thing possible."
"Well, technically speaking, you always die before eating, or after!" Iida remarks as he places a cup of orange juice down for you, "Depends on how you look at it."
You snort as you begin eating, and you feel Iida's hands massaging your neck slowly, and you moan between chews. "Will you always massage me after I run?"
"If that's what'll get you to ten thousand steps, yes." Iida agrees, pushing up his glasses, and you giggle.
"You got yourself a deal!" You agree as you press a kiss on Iida's lips.
