______________
It didn't take long for Jungkook to arrive back to his dorm building. Woosung wasn't lying about instantly taking him back, arriving right at the front entrance to Jungkook's directions.
The world is silent, the dormitory is quiet, and the night is peaceful.
Yet ended too soon.
For a moment Jungkook didn't move, more so didn't want to. He lingered with his arms around Woosung for a moment longer, scared that if he lets go than they'll go back to being the ghosts in the night that were once together, now becoming departed souls.
It's almost as if Woosung connected with his mind and he knows it because the second the motorcycle stopped, Woosung didn't tell him anything. Jungkook flutters his eyes close when he felt Woosung's warm hands over his.
Just for this single moment Jungkook felt like a kid again, crazy about the bad boy gangster with a nasty smoking habit and a thrill for life. Deep down inside he felt his soul yearn to be connected with it's other half again, to feel that flame of desire that they use to feel for each other.
However, it's something they shouldn't feel comfortable diving into again.
Slowly Woosung' grips his hands and slides it off his torso, letting go of his hands. That's when Jungkook is forced back to his reality. Forced back to hiding, living his new life for himself and his siblings.
Leaving behind his childish first love.
So hesitantly Jungkook piles off the bike and hands him the other helmet, "Thanks."
Woosung removes his own helmet and takes Jungkook's helmet, eyes looking up at the dorm to avoid his gaze, "Well, Toto you definitely aren't in Kansas anymore."
The Wizards of Oz.
It's funny because they didn't typically like Wizards of Oz in the start. It was during a boring, winter day where they didn't have anything else to do. So, they closed their eyes and picked the first movie that they laid their hands on in an old box of Woosung's parents cassette tapes. Didn't help that the movie was in English, so of course they didn't understand to a certain extent, but it helped time pass by.
Who knows why they kept rewatching that same movie over and over again every Sunday, and to this day, perhaps Jungkook still spends his Sundays watching clips of it on YouTube.
Hard to shrug off an old habit.
The ravenette hides his unease sadness with a small smile and punches his shoulder, "Yeah, this is definitely not like Busan," He says lowly, eyes looking up at the building as well, not knowing from where he got the courage to ask, "Want to come in?"
What a stupid question....
He knows it.
They both did.
But.... Clearly Jungkook didn't give a fuck in this moment.
He has the opportunity to play stupid with the idea, an innocent request.
They both knew how it would end.
For a moment Woosung remains quiet, almost as if he was debating his options. Jungkook knew that it wasn't right for the other to even go inside for their sake. It will just hurt them more. So that's why he wasn't surprised when Woosung shook his head, "I should go.... If I stay then... It'll be hard for me to go, you know? I need
to get back to my girl," He sighs heavily, eyes moving to the gear, "It was nice seeing you again.... Bambi."
Please stop feeling something...
