Hold On - Chord Overstreet
______________
Everything was happening too fast, way too fucking fast.
After the call Jungkook instantly stormed into his room with Taehyung asking him what was the problem. Jungkook didn't say anything, only puts on a black hoodie and pants before grabbing Taehyung's hand and dragging him out of the apartment.
"Someone back home needs me. You're coming with me and I'm driving your car," Was all he said and Taehyung was only left to comply from that moment on.
First of all he didn't know that Jungkook was even able to drive this fast and cautious at once. No matter how many times Taehyung asked him what's going on the drive while they were in settled highways, all Jungkook said was that he needs to focus.
He wasn't angry.
He wasn't upset.
He held onto a hard look that was so difficult for Taehyung to even read. Clearly this person means something important to him because Jungkook wouldn't drive for hours after midnight for nothing.
Taehyung could see the way he grips the wheel with an iron hand as he swerved through the cars, taking many short cuts an highways before they arrived to a familiar area for Taehyung.
Back to where Jungkook dreaded returning to.
Busan.
Moments of intense silence continues to fill the small atmosphere of the car and all Taehyung could do was rub Jungkook's knee, providing some sort of comfort that he's there for him.
Even if he didn't understand what was going on.
However he knows if Jungkook is back here, it has to be for someone important.
Obviously not his father.
The city lights breezes by Taehyung's eyes rather quickly before he suddenly enters a more dark and urban shitty looking neighborhood, surrounded by druggies and a few homeless people wondering the streets. This is an area with no light, where graffiti is scattered as art around the stores and walls, and where one can't walk without some type of weapon unless you want to get robbed or jumped.
The car suddenly stops in front of a bricked apartment complex, that's squished between a bodega and an empty building up for sale.
Taehyung instantly felt as if though he entered the lions den, especially to some looks he received from people outside when he stepped out of the car. However he didn't get to feel the full impact of their stares because Jungkook gets out instantly with his hood on and walks around to Taehyung, instantly swinging his hood over his head and tightening the strings."Head down and follow me, don't utter a word," Was all he growls as he yanks Taehyung by the hand and drags him towards narrow door to the apartment building.
Jungkook was moving too fast that he didn't even greet the old man by the desk, only going straight up the creaking stairs with Taehyung tripping behind him as he almost sprints up the steps, up until he suddenly lets go of Taehyung's hand and takes off in a run down the hallway when they reached the third floor.
Taehyung regardlessly chases after him, even when he barges through a door so suddenly. By now Taehyung's heart is pulsating rather too fast as he rushes through the open door where the ravenette stormed into.
Instantly freezing on his steps.
Oh shit.....
The first thing Taehyung notices is a beaten up boy is on the ground, gasping desperately for air while a familiar female, Lisa, kneels beside him as a wailing mess with tears glistening her wide eyes. Jungkook instantly crashes down to his knees besides the boy, his shakily hands forcing the boy to face him.
