Fire on Fire - Sam Smith

__________

The sound of the soft wooden crackling crickets through the quiet atmosphere, being the blissful music that filled this emptiness with a tender touch of peace.

It sounded delicate.

Just calming to sleep to after a long day of working so hard, letting the warmth of the fire caress one's skin like a blanket as the doze into a deeper and deeper slumber to the sound of nature.

All the lights are off, except for the light from the fire place, shining over the two body's sitting on the floor leaning back against the foot of the couch, somehow finding ease as they stare at the delicate view before their eyes.

As though it was a piece of art, a storyteller that entranced the audience, a puppeteer to the cast a beautiful show.

The scene is beautiful.

Yet only one of pair wasn't paying as close attention to it as he would've liked.

Jimin's eyes are focused somewhere else, staring down at the tatted design of Yeosang arm, that's laying on his thigh, trailing the delicate swirls of art with his tender fingers.

"What about that one?"

Yeosang looks down, gazing to the feather tattoos that Jimin is pointing to by the inside of his wrists; small but swirling as though it's floating in the breeze.

"Light. To live life feeling light and not so heavy. Like a feather," He explains quietly, slightly swaying his knee side to side from its plopped up position, "One of the first tattoos I got actually."

The curiosity in Jimin's eyes glowed, looking almost like a small baby with an interested gaze behind his wide orbs, "Woah, that's so cool," He whispers in awestruck and looks down to his own bare arms, not a single speck of ink displayed, "I've been wanting to get one, but it's too expensive."

The thought of Jimin with a tattoo had Yeosang twitching a smile, trailing his hand to Jimin's delicate soft arms, almost inspecting it with his eyes, "If only we were back at Busan, I would do it for free for you."

He had the kit and setting for it, but it's not like Yeosang can go back to Busan any time soon.

A small gasp parted Jimin's lips, lifting his head up from his bare shoulder he was resting on to look at him, "You're a tattoo artist?"

"Not legally," Yeosang snickers, leaning his hand to pinch Jimin's cheek, "I did most of mine and Jungkook's tattoos."

Ah Jungkook's tattoos. A design Jimin wasn't so surprised when the ravenette decided to open up about it. He was afraid, thinking Jimin wouldn't accept him like this, but the shock he had when Jimin approached him with a hug and a soft smile sent his mind to ease.

It's good to know that trust between these four roommates only continues to grow, and it just feels almost impossible to think of a time before this.

Despite their on going bad blood, they prefer things to how they are now

Suddenly a bright smile forms Jimin's lips, almost like a squeal, "Can you do one on me then? When the time comes?"

The younger of the two only chuckles fondly at his excitement, patting his hand, "If you don't pass out, of course Minnie."

Taehyung and Jungkook have been out for a while now, giving time for Yeosang and Jimin to be alone in the apartment and enjoy it. They made food for each other, watched a few movies to pass through their day and now they're here, sitting comfortably on the rug as they just talk about many things at once in complete tranquility. In their own little bubble.
