The first thing I did when I woke up is calling Noah. I'm really confused. And stressed. I want to go to work. But don't want in the same time.

"Noah. Help."

"What is it?"

"Do I go?"

"Oh. What do you want to do?"

"I want and don't want to go."

"What the hell?"

"Yes. I don't know what to do Noah."

"Me neither. I can't help you with this. It depends on you. I can't tell you to go. But I also can't tell you not to go. I can't tell you to go because it's completely your right not to go. But I can't tell you not to go for Bear."

"Ugh! Fuck you Shawn!"

"I can't argue with that."

"Did he even talk to you?"

"No. But I'll see him in the company anyway. And he'll probably apologize because he told me I was right."

I sigh.

"I'll go. Thank you Noah."

"What did I tell you about thank you's just last night?"

"Sorry."

"See ya."

*****************************
Shawn opens the door and I walk past him without looking at his face. I go straight to Bear's room without a word. I wake him up, and give him some privacy.

I go to the kitchen and prepare him some lunch.

"Sophia." I hear Shawn say behind me.

I sigh and turn around.

"What, Shawn?"

"I'm sorry."

"Believe me, Shawn. A word doesn't change anything . Actions do. So unless you act sorry, I'm not talking to you."

"Dad. The last day of school is next Friday." Bear walks into the kitchen.

Thank God.

"Where do you want to go?" He breaks eye contact with me and looks at his son.

Wait... what? Shawn takes his son out on the last day of school. Cute. As. Hell.

No no no no. Stop Sophia. He's a dick and you're so mad at him.

"To the mall. There's an amusement trampoline center there. Like a really big trampoline. All of my class are going. I want to go with them."

Shawn looks at me in amazement. Raul obviously never went out with his school kids before.

"Of course parents will be with us. They'll be around us. And we'll go out on Sunday."

"Umm. Sure. Yeah."

"Can Soph go with us?"

That caught me so off-guard.

They both look at me, expecting an answer.

"If she wants to." Shawn says to his son, looking right in my eyes.

"I'll go. If it makes you happy, I'll go for sure." I smile at him.

"Thank you!" He hugs my waist.

I rub his back with my hand.

"Peter." Shawn answers his phone. "He'll be right there."

"Raul. Come on. Peter arrived."

"Okay. Bye Dad. Bye Soph."

"Bye, baby."
