Seong Jaehwa's POV
"It's okay Kookie-ah," I said as I walked towards my table.
"Is there any news about Tae hyung yet?" He asked trying to forget what happened a few minutes ago.
I shook my head.
"I already asked Eunsung about it. He also doesn't have any idea. Only their parents know something and they're not telling Eunsung anything." I answered.
"Oh, by the way, auntie and uncle told me to drive you home." He said.
"Don't you have work today Mr. Jeon?" I eyed him suspiciously.
"I don't."
Jeon Jungkook's POV
"I don't." I lied.
There's something I just found out and I don't know how to tell Jaehwa.
I don't want to see her hurt.
How could I tell her that Taehyung is back?
I took a sit on the couch and waited for Jaehwa to finish her work.
Flashback~
"Jungkook." I looked up to see the owner of the voice.
"Tae hyung. You're back!" I immediately hugged him.
"After a year, you're finally back," I added.
"Does anyone know you're back?" I asked.
"Only my parents. Eunsung doesn't even have any idea that I'm back. I'm living in an apartment for now." He explained.
"Why?" I asked again.
"Just, reasons." He shortly answered. Something is off.
"How is Jaehwa?" He suddenly asked.
"She's been waiting." I looked at him. Something is not right.
"Didn't she date while I was gone?" He asked.
"She doesn't want to. She's waiting for you." He sighed upon hearing my answer.
His phone suddenly rang. "Uh Jungkook, I gotta go. Don't tell anyone that we met. Not even the hyungs. I'll see you guys soon. I promise." He immediately left leaving me confused.
Something's not right.
Flashback ended~
"Jungkook what are you thinking?" Jaehwa waved her hand in front of me.
I blinked a few times.
"Uh, nothing." I immediately brush those thoughts off.
"You're hiding something from me aren't you." She said.
Am I too obvious?
"Why'd you ask?"
"Nothing. I just can feel it." She said as she walked before me.
"Oh right Jungkook, I forgot. I'm going to the Kims today. Would you like it to come with me?" She offered and I nodded.
We got inside the car and drove to the Kims' house.
"Why do you still commute Jae? I mean you have a car. Why not use it?" I asked her.
"Well, I'm just too lazy to drive." She answered.
When we arrived, I parked the car in front of the house.
Jaehwa rang the doorbell and the door was opened by Eunsung.
