Me: Hey, guys!

Aragon: I hope you guys are having a happy Easter!

Usnavi: Yep!

Veronica: (on her phone) Welp, looks like Broadway and West End are gonna come back at the end of May or early June after all! Huh...do we have Evan Hansen to thank or something?

Peggy: Ha! Looks like it!

Me: Okay, so for this episode, I have decided what we're going to react to since it's Easter. Drawings will start again next week, so don't be shy to drop a request!

Catherine Parr: So what are we reacting to?

Me: We are reacting to "One Day At A Time"! It's a Netflix show about the Alvarez family, a Cuban-American family living in L.A.!

Carla: Whooo! I've watched that show and I love it!

Sonny: Nice! Way to represent us Latinos!

Philip: It sounds fun!

Heather D.: Maybe I should watch it, or not, depending on how I like this episode.

Me: So we are going to react to the first episode of season two, called "The Turn". So basically, in this episode, the oldest daughter, Elena, gets misidentified as white and that bothers her, and her younger brother, Alex, gets in trouble at school. For what, we'll find out.

[I start the episode]

Laurens: Ooh! Whose baseball game are we at?

Me: Alex's.

[Onscreen: Shake it off, Dylan, shake it off!]

J.D.: Oh, is that the mom?

Me: Yep, her name is Penelope.

Vanessa: Yeah, I don't like hot weather too, Abuela...what's her name?

Me: Lydia. Oh, and she's played by Rita Moreno!

Heather C.: WOW...that's a lot of food...

Daniela: And GOOD food too. You can't go wrong with arroz con frijoles.

Anne Boleyn: Wow! That white guy with them can speak Spanish well!

Me: Yep. That's Schneider. He's Canadian, and the Alvarez' landlord.

Hamilton: Ugh...not "homolingual", Schneider, it's "monolingual"!

Usnavi: What? The vendor thinks Elena is his daughter?

Me: Yep, he thinks that she is white.

Mulligan: WHOOO! ALEX IS UP!

Me: Here we go, Papito!!!

Anna of Cleves: Yay! Alex did it!

Me and the ITH characters: ¡DALE, PAPITO, DALE! DALE, PAPITO, DALE!

Catherine of Aragon: Sorry, um...Spaniard here, what does "dale" mean?

Usnavi: It means "go for it".

[When Lydia waves a giant Cuban flag)

The ITH characters: WHOOOOO!¡¡¡ WEPA!!!

[After the theme song]

King George: Well, looks like that game went really well...

Madison: Yeah...

Philip: Whoo! I like Penelope's little rap!
