"Hey Colson do you have any aspirin?"

Levi and I were at the Harpers hanging out. We were in their living room, my favorite room in their house. Their L shaped, charcoal gray couch was just too comfortable. Since I've been back in the States I have fallen asleep on it about 9 times. Given I've only been back a little over month, that's way too many times. I should be ashamed, but I wasn't. Not even a little bit.

"Yeah it's in my gym bag."

I stood up from the L shape part of the couch and then sat right back down. "Before I get up, I'm not going to see a jock strap in there am I?"

Colson lifted his head towards the ceiling thinking about my question.

"On second thought, I'll get it." He got up from the couch and jogged to his bag laying in his foyer.

"You still have a headache?" Levi asked, concern laced in his voice.

"Yeah, it won't go away." I started to rub my temples from the pain.

"Make sure you keep an eye on it."

"Why?"

"Didn't you have a concussion a few months back?" He asked this like I should know where he was going with it.

"Yes..." I drew out the word.

"Okay then, just keep an eye on how many headaches you're been getting to make sure it's nothing serious." He shrugged off his concern for me. Always the big brother.

Colson came back and tossed me the aspirin and a bottle of water.

"Thanks."

"No problem."

As I finished taking the aspirin I saw Mr. and Mrs. Harper out of the corner of my eye and they were dressed to impress.

"Oooooo, where are we off to tonight?" I asked, intrigued by their attire.

"It's date night." Mrs. Harper said happily, turning for me to see the entirety of her navy dress.

"I see. Well you look lovely Mrs. Harper."

"Thank you dear. And how many times do I have to tell you to call me Cary?"

"To be honest, probably a few more times." She laughed at my candor.

"Yeah she's a slow learner." I threw a throw pillow at my Brother's head.

Mr. Harper, or Charlie I should say, came from from the foyer closet and placed a coat over his wife's shoulders.

"Ready sweetie?" He asked as he kissed her on the cheek making her blush.

"Yes, I'm all set. You kids have fun and there's money in the jar for pizzas if you guys get too hungry."

"Thanks have fun!" Colson replied, not even taking his eyes off of the TV.

I sighed as their front door closed behind them. "Date night.... I miss dates." I flopped my head back on the couch cushion.

"Didn't you have a boyfriend before you came back?" I was kind of talking to myself but if Levi wanted to respond who am I to stop him. I'm surprised he was listening to be honest.

"Yep."

"And you guys didn't go on dates?" He inquired.

"No we did. In the very beginning but it stopped quickly once we started dating officially."

My words had me thinking. Why is that? My eyes traveled to the guys playing playstation and an idea popped in my head. This hopeless romantic just had to know.
