It was the last day of my first month of school back in the states, and besides being threatened by a girl who has her manicurist on speed dial, my start to the school year wasn't going so bad.
Tyler has been extra nice and flirtatious. He was taking my challenge of not being an asshole serious. It was kind of cute. He even came to my soccer game.
I appreciated the effort. He was keeping my mind busy. I was trying hard not to think about my growing feelings for Colson. It's weird. I've known him practically my entire life, why am I now starting to see him in a different light?
"Tyler alert." Sawyer said under her breath so that no one besides me could hear.
"Hey Beautiful." He greeted me with a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey." I replied.
He looked at Sawyer. "Hey to you too."
"Thanks for noticing me." She was being sarcastic and I was loving it.
If he couldn't handle Sawyer then there would be no reason in even trying to win this challenge of his. We've become like the girl version of Levi and Colson. We're a package deal.
"So how was the rest of your weekend?" He was walking us to lunch to the displeasure of Sawyer.
"It was alright. The guys took me to the movies." Or at least they tried. We never made it. I got distracted by a Krispy Kreme.
Something was running through Tyler's head now, you could see it in his eyes. "Do they do that a lot?"
"Do what a lot?"
"You know, take you places?"
Nope. I like to walk everywhere. It's good for the heart. Bad for the feet.
"Why wouldn't they?"
We had reached the cafeteria and he took a seat on the other side of me.
He looked towards the direction of Levi and Colson coming our way. "No reason."
Okie dokie then.
Lunch was awkward. Levi and Colson spent their time entertaining the blonde and brunette bitches of the east, and Tyler kept asking me random questions. They seemed annoyed by Tyler's interest in me.

Football practice had ended and Colson dropped Levi off. As soon as I saw his headlights I ran out of the house to greet them.
"Hey guys how was practice?"
Levi looked pissed. "Tyler answered a call during practice. Coach made us run the entire time because of it." He grabbed his things from the bed of Colson's truck. "Idiot." He mumbled as he walked towards the house.
"Speaking of Tyler..." I watched Colson's face drop. His smile disappeared and I instantly regretted bringing up his name.
"What about him?" He tried to not seem bothered that I was asking about him but he was failing miserably.
"If you don't want me going on a date with him I won't." I normally don't let others dictate my life other than my Mom but the guys were different, they're huge parts of my life and their opinion mattered.
"I can't tell you not to date him Liv."
"But I don't want to lose one of my best friend's over this."
