Various clubs and organizations had different booths you could visit at the Fall Carnival. The football team spilt into Offense and Defense. Levi was with the offense running the petting zoo and Colson was with the defense running the dunk tank.

Both booths earned female spectators, no matter the age. I even took a turn at the dunk tank. I proudly sank Colson, although he claims I cheated by using a soccer ball instead of a baseball. But it's not my fault I'm better with my feet than my hands.

"There she is." Tyler snaked his arms around me and kissed my cheek.

"Here I am."

"Aren't you supposed to be at the zoo?" Sawyer asked.

"Nah. Her brother gave us shifts." Tyler wiggled his eyebrows up and down playfully.

I looked at Sawyer who was giving me a look saying that I shouldn't do what she knows I"m about to do. But I'm nosy, and I would like to know why he took so long to text me back yesterday. I mean, I was able to lose a mini pony, call Colson, look for Buckwheat, find the mini pony, and return him all before he text me back.

I'm not one to sit by the phone but damn, if that wasn't a long time to leave someone hanging.

"So what'd you do last night?" Sawyer rolled her eyes at my question.

Tyler fidgeted with his phone in his hands. "I was hanging with some friends."

"I see. And you didn't want to hang with me?"

"Of course I did, I was just already hanging out with them and couldn't split."

My eyes narrowed at him. I understand that but the ghosting part is what I didn't get. If he was hanging with friends why couldn't he just tell me that last night?

"Come on, I'll win you a teddy bear to make up for it." He put his arm around my shoulders and guided us towards the games.

It took a few games before he could win me anything. He definitely wasn't the athlete that my brother and Colson were but they're also freaks of nature so I'll let that slide. But the shooting hoops game I could have won myself a stuffed animal before he did.

We walked hand in hand throughout the carnival. I hated to admit it but the petting zoo was very adorable. Levi managed to get a pot belly pig, Buckwheat, pygmy goats, a couple of rabbits, a donkey, and a llama.

I seriously wanted to steal the pygmy goats. They were just so cute and tiny. The llama kept spitting on people which made for a good laugh. The children loved the petting zoo and I was so happy that Levi was a success. I just hated that I'd now never hear the end of it.

I barely saw Colson and Levi throughout the night. After Colson took his turn in the dunking booth he and Levi took Nicole and Brittany around the carnival.

Speaking of the carnival, the school carnival just had to have a haunted house. Tyler was too excited. I could have done without.

At first I was fine but the moment things started popping out I was done for.

Tyler wrapped his arms tightly around me, trying to shield me from the fright around us but it wasn't working. I was freaking out way too much.

I'm not normally a scary person but when it comes to horror, I'd rather die.

You know those times during your childhood when your parents tell you not to do something but you do it anyways just to prove them wrong? That's the exact reason as to why o can't do horror films or anything dealing with the genre.
