*Colson's POV*
"Why are your eyes glossed over?"
"I'm not sure." He took another sip from his cup.
I snatched the cup from Levi's hand and brought the contents to my nose. I winced at the smell. "Maybe you should lay off the punch."
Levi looked ashamed. "It's spiked isn't it?"
I pressed my lips into a thin line and nodded. I patted him on the shoulder for support.
He should have seen that one coming.
"Who does that? That's so cliche." He poured out the rest of the punch in the trashcan.
"Spiking the punch is cliche. Getting drunk off of the spiked punch, even more cliche."
His eyes went into slits. "Thanks man! You make me feel so much better." I will choose to ignore his sarcasm because he's a bit tipsy.
The girls joined us at the refreshment table. Olivia looked at her brother try to figure out why the tree in the corner was moving. Keep in mind, the 'tree' was a guy dressed in a dark green tux.
"He drank the punch didn't he?"
I nodded my head in embarrassment.
"How did everyone know about the punch but me?"
"I take it you haven't spoken to Carl yet?" Olivia looked around for the boy in question.
"Who's Carl?" Levi looked very confused.
"Carl. Your long snapper." She tried to mask her laugh but it came through.
"Damnit Carl!"
Tyler approached the four of us with a huge grin on his face. I would do anything to knock that smirk off of his face. But I promised Olivia that I'd be on my best behavior before people think I have anger problems or on roids. Non of which are true. I'm just protective of Olivia. Sawyer has even gotten under my skin. If anyone dares to lay a hand on them and I find out, they're going to need a new hand.
"Olivia, you look stunning." He leaned in and kissed her on the cheek before she had time to react. I clenched and unclenched my fists.
"Care to dance?"
"Don't take this the wrong way, but... no."
I couldn't help but jump for joy on the inside. How many times is she going to have to reject him for him to get the hint?
"Please, I just want to talk, that's all." His eyes were pleading with her to join him on the dance floor.
Olivia sighed and looked to me, silently asking for permission. I gave her a mini smile in response.
Tyler didn't waste anytime whisking her away from us. I watched them intently as his hand got comfortable on her waist.
"I'm going to get this one some water and food." Sawyer dragged an almost buzzed Levi away.
I placed my hands in my pockets and took deep breaths in and out. I cannot let this guy get to me. Olivia chose me and not him, I need to remember that.
Instead of doing what my pride wants me to do and watch them from afar, I decided to go outside and get a little air.

I recognized some the guys who were outside smoking. I knew of them, but not enough to be able to hold an entire conversation with them.
