Things have been going well with Tyler. I still wasn't completely comfortable around him but that will come with time.

It's no secret that he's not Sawyer's favorite person but she's civil towards him which I appreciate. Between school, soccer, and now Tyler, my time was very limited. I found myself doing homework as my Mom drives me to and from practice in the car.

Tyler wasn't clingy so he doesn't take it personal when I have to do homework instead of talking to him on the phone. At least I don't think he does, we haven't really talked about it.

At lunch today Nicole pointed out a girl who she claimed repeatedly sits by herself everyday. I was hoping that she was just exaggerating though because everyone could use a friend. Brittany and Nicole teased her which annoyed me to the point that I had to bail and decided to go to the library.

I had a European History test later on anyways that I still didn't feel ready for. Sawyer came with me. I didn't doubt that she wouldn't. She only sits at the table because me and the boys were there but lately Nicole and Brittany has had them around their finger so they barely pay attention to us when they're around.

Sawyer stared at a picture of some old King in our book. He wasn't very attractive, maybe he was in that time period, but in this time period...

"You know what? Guys with accents are hot?"

I hope she wasn't talking about the guy in the book.

"This is true." I could think of tons of actors, mostly British or Australian that are very hot, handsome, cute, sexy, any good characteristic in the looks column could describe them.

Sawyer pouted a bit. "I wish I had an accent."

"You should go to another country then." I told her blatantly without looking up from my book.

"Why?"

"Because then you're be the one with the accent."

Sawyer laughed out loud causing the librarian to shush us. "I hate you." She whispered.

The next day at lunch I made sure to look for the girl who Nicole and Brittany teased. Sure enough there she was, eating alone. Again.

I wonder if it was a personal choice or if people just wrote her off like the blonde and brunette.

She wasn't unattractive. Her glasses were a little too big for her face, and her hair could use a trim and a decent combing. But she was cute in her own way.

"See what I mean? There she is again." Nicole stated, looking in the same direction I was.

"Cool it." Tyler demanded of the girls. I was appreciative that someone was sticking up for her.

Brittany took her seat next to Colson and beside Nicole. "I heard she has fleas."

"I heard you have chlamydia." Tyler brushed off her flea comment, trying to get them passed this topic. The table laughed. Colson cleared his throat but didn't say anything.

I didn't hear the rest of their conversation. It's never nice to tease someone who can't fend for their self. As the table talked about who they thought were 'losers' in the school, I was thinking over my choices on how to handle the situation.

I finally made up my mind when Nicole said that you could catch a disease just by being near her and that cool kids should stay far away. I slung my backpack over my shoulder and picked up my lunch tray. I didn't say anything to anyone, I just left the table.
